We stumbled upon this amazing place because we came downtown Salem Oregon for the holiday parade, it was one of the few places still open that my minor grandson could go in and sit to eat . "India Palace for the win!!! This use to be my all-time favorite, but I quit going after they quit doing dine-in during the pandemic. After a very disappointing dinner service last night at another Indian restaurant, I circled back around to India Palace with 5 other dinner guests. It was definitely my loss for not coming back sooner. Crazy good service, but the star of the show was the food itself and the quality of the ingredients. I had forgotten how bad everyone's Indian food was until eating here tonight at India palace. There is really no second or third place in comparison. The flavors in the dishes that we ordered are so elevated in comparison to the other places in town. As always I take lots of pictures and they are included below. Notice the beautiful smallware they serve their food in. It helps keep the curry piping hot. And they were very very generous with the portion sizes as well as continuing to bring more rice as we ran out. Every dish was amazing, the service was fantastic and the tables and restaurant were very clean. Far exceeded my expectations. Could not have asked for any better experience!"
