"I do not recommend anyone taking there vehicle here I was told my engine came with a 2 year warranty and that they were certified through Toyota wrong also gave them 700 for parts that never came"
"Back when Ben and Greg were running this place as “Toyota Engines” they were solid and would get things done honestly and fix any mistakes if necessary. Had them do some clutches, minor engine work, and exhaust work never having any issues. Once Greg left and a younger guy started speaking for Ben essentially the place went downhill. Took my ‘87 Toyota van here to get injectors installed (that I already had), and to have the clutch looked at and potentially replaced due to minor slipping. It took them 6 weeks to finish, after visiting multiple times they had informed me it needed fuel lines and already went forward with the repair without asking - fine, something I would have replaced if I had noticed anyway. Then upon my next visit the trans still had not been pulled to check the clutch but I was told it was (road grime still completely covering bolts from trans to engine), and also mentioned they removed my rear brakes and turned the drums (never asked them and never had braking issues, so I refused to pay that), but upon further inspection they did remove them but just painted them black and did not actually turn them. I was also told all bushings were replaced on the entire suspension (also never asked for this) and again upon inspection there was not a single new bushing as most of them were still showing cracking from age, and most mounting bolts were again covered in road grime and had never been touched. Once it was “complete” I went and picked it up and it had never run worse, they still tried to charge me for pulling the trans, doing brakes, suspension, and a few other things. Needless to say they tried to charge me $1400 for fuel lines and installing injectors I brought them. This place is a joke that relies on people not knowing anything about their vehicles. If you’re not a mechanic or at least knowledgeable enough to check the work that was done, stay away from this place, they WILL rip you off."
"Sloppy build motor rattles asked for a refund was told no this is my second motor from them and this is how i got it missing parts had to warranty the first one for burning oil and it had less then 10k miles on it"
"This shop has had our 4Runner for over 4 months. We blew a head gasket, they told us the engine should be replaced, and it has been one headache after another even just trying to get in contact with someone to tell us what’s going on. The front desk man is very nice but it seems to me that place is run with too small a crew and total and utter chaos. We literally had to buy a new vehicle to make sure we could get places we needed to go for the holidays. I hope we will see our truck again someday…Who knows?"
"I had my truck engine replaced by them last year and had a leaking valve cover gasket that was “repaired” twice under the three year unlimited mile warranty. Both repairs failed and I was asked to pay for the repair that was covered completely under warranty and I had that in writing. When I asked why I was being charged on my second repair the owner told me he had to pay his workers. When I voiced my frustrations I was told to never come back in a very interesting and slightly threatening way. All three times I brought my truck in it took weeks to do quick jobs and my truck would sit in the parking lot until then. This last time it took me 4 weeks to even get an appointment and then it sat in the parking lot unlocked with the key in it for a few nights once I did. The valve cover gasket replacement took almost two weeks before I got my truck back and it still has not fixed the leak. I used this shop and was willing to pay extra just to get a 3 year warranty and know it was built by a shop with expertise in my trucks engine, but at this point My truck uses more oil than it did when I had it rebuilt and I’m without a warranty. If you do decide to work with this shop do your best to work with Jeremy, the manager. He was incredibly helpful and pleasant to work with. However that was not my experience with the owner. It seemed like the owner was always taking on more new work than the shop could handle and making every attempt to keep from fixing warranty repairs."
