"Don’t do business with this man!! He entered a contract with my Uncle to refinish a 1982 Ford F150, paint, new interior, new gas tanks, New truck bed. My Uncle passed away unexpectedly in Oct 2023. Sgt. John said we owed balance of contract which was 7500 of 15,000 bill. He had the truck since July 2023 and when we finally picked truck up today 3-10-24, the truck was awful, my grandson could have painted it better and he should be ashamed to take advantage of a fellow VETERAN . The estate of my uncle lives in New Jersey, so I guess he thought we would never see the truck but we donated it to a veterans association and my hope is they will be able to salvage the truck and get it running. He is a terrible and deceiving person and his work is not worth it. PLEASE BE AWARE."
"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN!!! "Sergeant" John had left a flyer on my brother's Volvo, which was parked at my mom's house. Although it was a 2004 model, the car exterior and interior were in very good condition. There was a problem with the engine, which would have cost about $2000 to fix, which my brother couldn't afford. So, having seen the flyer, my mother asked me to contact John and arrange for him to come over and buy the car. He and I didn't discuss price because I figured he'd want to see the car first. Well, my brother couldn't get away from work that day so my 76 year-old mother dealt with John. My mom's been under a great deal of stress lately because she's sold her house and had a POD moving container coming the next day and needed the Volvo gone. She was so relieved to be able to sell the car to John. How much do you think John offered her for a 2004 Volvo, in great exterior and interior condition? Yes, it needed about $2000 but still, how much? $60. Yes, you read that correctly. John offered my sweet, elderly mother $60. She was so anxious she didn't know what to do other than accept, after which she immediately regretted her decision and has been beating herself up about it ever since This "Sergeant" is a charlatan, who preyed on my elderly mother an incredibly difficult time in her life. $60 is what you pay for a meal not a car. I am so angry with this man. What person of good conscience would offer anyone, let alone a senior citizen, $60 for their car? I don't know that my mother will ever truly get over this. She is completely devastated that she agreed to such an insulting low offer, saying over and over, "Why did I do that?" She was overwhelmed and panicky that day and this so-called Sergeant took advantage of that. I will tell everyone I know never to do business with this man."
"Stay off my property. And stop putting your trash my my car."
"John is a lier and a thief. John admits to not being an expert. I have screenshots. John lied about wheel and tire size then refused to return my money. I hope he fixes this today as he said he would. He claims to be a man of integrity, let's see."
"These guys are so great. It reminds me of when I was a kid and you'd pull into your local service station cuz your car was acting funny and the mechanic was friendly and helpful. I was over in west Eugene and needed help asap at 4:30 one afternoon. Knowing I could trust them, I rushed out to 28th & Main in Springfield, pulled in at 4:50, ten minutes before these guys were suppose to close up shop. They dropped what they were doing to help me a out of jam, offered to go above and beyond what was necessary. I said, No, I'll come back next week when I have the part I need to do the job right knowing they will be there. This is my third experience with this shop over the past few years and I am so grateful they are in business. Support them cuz we need shops like this one."
