"First-time visit, and I opted for the Shrimp Benedict with a side of home fries. Thumbs up for the Benedict; the shrimp cake was a delightful surprise, lacking the typical shrimp smell. However, the home fries fell short – too dry and brown/black, likely over-fried (it’s even clear in the picture). The presentation didn't quite match the fancy look on their online menu/Instagram page. On the upside, the staff, especially our server Justine, was exceptionally friendly and professional. He made sure our coffee was hot and poured with a smile several times. Overall, a mixed experience."

"This place could be really great with a few improvements. One, clean up the host stand area and sightlines. We walked in to a weird horseshoe of chairs. Between the host stand and the open kitchen were pieces of an old food line that looked like it was still being used for storage as there was raw meat sitting out in a cambro in full view of customers...and it sat there the entire ten minutes we were waiting for our table. It was extremely unappetizing. Those pieces of equipment and the beat-up chest freezer really need to be somewhere else and not the first thing the customer sees. The food itself arrived lukewarm and the hollandaise in my smoked salmon hash was more of a puddle in the bottom. My husband's chilaquiles special was very bland. The hot sauce we asked for turned out to be salsa in bottles, not hot sauce. The service was good and the atmosphere by the bar area is really nice. But it definitely feels like the food is designed to be on Instagram -- except that ours clearly sat in the window too long, leaving the picturesque finishes wilted and unappetizing. There's a lot of potential here. I wish them luck in getting it figured out."

"The atmosphere is pleasant. Lots to look at and all the creative details. Appreciate the painted walls with some of my favorite blue colors. French Toast was excellent. Quick turn around with melt in your mouth flavor. I came here not hungry and finished the whole thing. The French toast was so good that I couldn't stop eating. Service was spot on. The toast is actually French and is actually toast. Not the same as their French Toast. It's all about the details here."

"Odd bird is such a de-light-full (full of light and delights) addition to the sparse Corvallis breakfast scene. Friendly staff, beautiful clean decor, high ceilings, sparkling clean glasses, Real napkins were the first good impressions. I personally like a variety of different flavors, love to try out things that are not always the ordinary and was happy to find many items that I will come back for. Ami was amazing answering our questions, keeping us informed about the timeframe of our food, checked in how it was after we ate a few bites, just a perfect experience. Absolutely loved the the presentation of the food, the colors and details made our breakfast a wonderful start of our Saturday."
