"Its a shame that I am feeling compelled to write this review however I am dissastisfied with the outcome of a recent diagnoses that could have been a repair. We took my sons 2009 Escape in for a steering noise. We were told it would be approx a $3300 repair. The whole steering column would need to be replaced. Since we were not going to put that much into an older car we declined the repair and were then told the car was "usafe" to drive and required to be towed. We rented a trailer picked the car up and took it home. We took the time to find the source of the noise in the steering ourselves, it turned out to be a lower ujoint. A common failure on these cars. The part was about $150, it took us about 90 minutes to swap out. The car now drives fine and makes no noises. I called the shop and asked to speak with the shop manager, I politely explained the situation and was put on a short hold. The person came back with a story about how the there was a communication break down between the tech and the service advisor. Apparently about a $3000 dollar communication breakdown. I had hoped that the call would have resulted in an apology and maybe a partial refund for the "miscommunication". Instead they double down on thier diagnoses stating that it would fail again soon. Hmm why hasn't the upper ujoint on the column failed then? They did apologize for telling me the "teeth on the column had sheered off", funny thing is the shaft attaches with a rectangular fitting that has a bolt through it. I feel like this was a dishonest diagnoses and the tech does not want to admit to fault at my expense. Its a shame because they did do a good job on a previous repair and I had hoped that I had found an honest shop. I will not return."

"Always professional, reasonable, and keep me informed about the state of my vehicles. After some bad experiences with dealerships upselling unnecessary services and using my lack of car knowledge to get more of my money, I’m so glad I switched to a local garage that doesn’t try to make extra money on unnecessary bells and whistles—but who do inform me about maintenance issues that need immediate attention or may need future attention. They also take the time to discuss the car’s issues and educate me about it, which the dealership never did."

"Amazing! Super honest and reliable mechanics. I was quoted $4300 in repairs at the dealership. Not only did they fix the problem which was different than what the dealership identified, but they charged me a fraction of that for the actual repair. I will be coming here and only here in the future. I wish it was possible to give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it and then some. Shout out to Alex for doing a killer job, my car feels brand new."
