"The guys at West Hills Collision were so great to work with throughout the entire process of trying to get my car fixed. I was having a lot of trouble navigating the shady insurance world, who had deemed my car a total loss despite it being in very good condition prior to the accident and driveable afterwards. Even though they weren't ultimately able to fix my car because of insurance, these are honest dudes that helped me so much in understanding this process and dealing with my insurance company. Hopefully it won't happen, but if I'm ever in need of an autobody shop in the future I will 100% go back to Brock and his team at West Hills Collision."
"I give it two stars because in the past times, I have gotten good service. Having been a past and recent customer, the last time I visited...I'll describe the situation and tell me what your reaction would be. I pulled up to parking lot and as I was getting out of my car, an employee was coming out, checking another customers car. He said he would be with me shortly, he was with another customer. I came into the waiting room and waited as he took care of the couple in front of me. He kept his full attention to them. When they left, apparently he knew I had been in before. As he was working with me, another person came in asking about chargers in the area because they had an electric car needing a charger. His attention shifted from me to this other person needing a charger without saying anything else to me. He said they have a charger, but he would have to move his car. Again, without saying anything else to me, he left to help this other person. He moved his car and proceeded to help hook up the charger. After a bit of time, I walked out the door as he and the person were coming back in. He did not acknowledge me as he was still busy talking to this other person. I left and even though he had my contact info, never tried to contact me to this day. It's been close to three weeks ago. After being a customer, I will not be going back. Can't say if this is just poor customer service or something else."
"In mid-November, I found myself in a tight spot seeking a repair shop with immediate availability following a minor accident. Thankfully, I stumbled upon West Hills Collision Center, a beacon of excellence. Recollecting a positive encounter from a previous incident and their endorsement by my insurance company, I decided to pay them a visit. Despite the initial challenge in securing an appointment, the team at West Hills Collision Center went above and beyond. Despite being inundated with appointments, they graciously provided a prompt assessment and quote on the spot. Determined to lend my support to their commendable service, I committed to them if they could deliver the quote that day – a commitment they gladly fulfilled. The complexity of the repair necessitated ordering parts not readily available in town, resulting in my bringing in the car on December 5. The team assured me the repairs would be completed within two weeks, and true to their word, they exceeded expectations. The final outcome left me genuinely impressed; my car looked as good as new. "When the headlamp went out on my Jeep Grand Cherokee I thought it would be no big deal to get it fixed. The dealer is 30 minutes away and were out as far as scheduling. Had a poor experience at 2 other places in the SW (see below). Finally went to West Hills Collision Center on Barbur which my husband suggested in the first place. From the beginning, Steve Christensen worked with me and State Farm, who sent three separate documents with the wrong part numbers. Steve was patient, professional and communicated often. I never had to interface with State Farm again, Steve did. Whew! All the guys at West Hills were great (thanks, Adam!) They have a biz model of anyone can help you when you call so you always get help. Simple, huh? Now everything is fixed; my car is perfect. In a world where no one wants to work anymore, they are the best examples of friendly customer service I have found in a long time. Thank you, West Hills! First went to Todd’s in Lake O. The guy took 40 minutes (West Hills took 10) to do an estimate and then said he would look up the part and call me back. Never called. Second place-the worst- Classic Collision. Drove in there with high hopes as it is 10 minutes from my house. Guy walks out to the parking lot with me & says “Customers have to make an appointment to get an estimate so that we can set up files.” Files? I was thinking ‘if you had your device you could just get the VIN #& my address & we would already be done.’ He said, “You really need to go to the dealer with this.” Really, what do you do here? Glad I found West Hills."
