"WORTH THE READ: In the past two years, I've noticed service excellence is no longer something you just get. Customer service used to be paramount, and was why people would return. Lately, it feels that if a business knows they're the best game in town, they don't have to care about their service, follow up, communication or care, because we poor sods will have to come back. Calls to complain merely make us "Karen" and go nowhere, except to create an even worse service atmosphere at the next appointment. I've become accustomed to having to chase down EVERY SINGLE place I've done business with, to get an answer, service, or help that was promised with the first call, for weeks after. All this gives me is stress, frustration and I've almost lost all my faith in humanity as a result. * Enter Dr. Scott Travelstead and his band of merry dental professionals, right up to and including the front desk staff. I can't say enough good about this place, their personalized care, they don't let robots handle you by phone - or with any follow ups, they remind you regularly about upcoming appointments, and have ALWAYS greeted my family with a smile I can hear even over the phone. When I called to find out what kind of air purifier they had in the lobby, and the call dropped I thought I'd asked the one stupid question too many, until I got a call right back and an apology for the accidental disconnect, with a model # and name of the machine that stands to help get me healthy at home! (I have systemic Lupus) - and on THAT point, Dr. Travelstead copied a page out of the dental bible about how to treat patients with Lupus, and I was blown away with the gentle care, knowledge and attention this was given - shorter appointment slots for more rest between, and better chances at healing. They even told me to get an antibiotic through my PCP beforehand to prevent any bacteria from their work entering my system and making me sick. This foresight, and care is unlike ANYWHERE I've seen in many years, and companies could learn A LOT from this place. THANK YOU doesn't come close to how I feel. I feel valued, special, and more than a paycheck - my mouth has never been healthier and I no longer fear the dentist."
