"If you drove on the beach, it's wise to stop here. It's Quick, it's easy, and the light show is great when the sun goes down!."
"Definitely a costly lesson well learned!!! First time taking my car through a touch less and I don't know if any of the others are any better, but this one is a complete rip off!! Ended up having to take a towel u had in my trunk and wiping of the dirt that was not even touched!! And drying off my car because the blower didn't even dry it half way! Would have been a better wash just letting the rain do the job and wiping it with a rag myself!! Avoid this place unless you enjoy throwing your hard earned money away!!!"
"Why did you remove the spot free rinse? I litetally drive here from the east end of astoria weekly to wash my vehicle JUST FOR THE SPOT FREE RINSE Edited 12/15/2023 I'm talking about the coin operated pressure washer. Not the drive through. You used to have a spot free option, and removed it and replaced it with air that isn't powerful enough to blast the water off the vehicles You can't tell me the high pressure rinse is spot free."
"EDIT-UPDATE!-Apparently my thorough review was not detailed enough for the manager. I got the sense he felt that I need him to explain to me how to swipe my debit card, receive only 3 minutes of time before being prompted to swipe the card again, help selecting the proper switch for type of wash, or more importantly help understanding the business concept of word of mouth and customers. Maybe Monte is the one who need a accurate period of instruction on how to run a business without trying to steal peoples hard earned money. Just because one human thinks it is "standard" has no bearing on the actuality of if it is honest or not to any "normal customer". That is not acceptable to any future "potential customer" as I have demonstrated. I would never ask for or authorize a car wash to hold my money, I pay the bank to hold my money. This car wash stole my money and I reported it. There is nothing more to discuss. Continue reading the initial review so you the "potential customer" can be the judge of accuracy. Thieves and my process with the results. I swiped my debit card for the required $3.00, 3 minutes minimum time. I began washing, 3 minute time ran out and there was no soap. I swiped my card a second time, for another 3 minutes required purchase time and another $3.00 and repeated the process. The time ran out. Again no soap. I am beginning to think that the idea of soap coming out of the wand here was going to be the only demonstration from this company of their verbal interpretation of accuracy when it comes to "value of service". Charge the customer for a product that does not exist. Great for maximization of profit due to cost savings, I just experience the results, but it only got worse. The swipe the card routine was getting old, but I continued for a 3rd time to finish washing and rinsing. The 3 minutes ran out and I had finished rinsing a car, not really washing it. Its only if you think that washing it is defined as soap coming out of the wand when the proper "pink" soap selector is selected. So, 3 sessions of swiping the card at $3.00 a pop mathematically equals $9.00 charged for a mostly nonexistent car washing but semi thorough rinsing, due to the company not having soap present to wash with. Not good value. It only gets worse. I needed to vacuum the vehicle. I pulled up and again swiped my card for the minimum required $2.50 which now totals $11.50 total. I finished and left! Here is how this business demonstrates, not says in replies or advertising, but literally demonstrates what it thinks of new customers. The company changed me straight up $10.00 even for each and every swipe I made with my card for a grand total charged of $40.00. That is a total of $29.50 of fraudulent charges this compony made on my card. Solution. Report this company, get my money back, get a new card. Effects? On this business? Who cares? See, its just my friend who I tell about Seaside Car Wash, who does what I tell him to, just like his friend who also does the same thing, and that happens at an exponential rate in that place called the future. On my bank? Oh, well, this company affects that bank in the following manner. I made sure the bank was aware of this, just for accuracies sake. Do you go to 7-Eleven give the employee your card for an item and have 3x the amount put on hold? No. This company became a cost to that bank in the form of expedited FedEx shipments that get paid for by the bank to get me a new debit card. My bank had to pay because of the fraud this company committed! Wow what a way to show other not only the customer how much they care, but how much they care about other companies like banks as well. So be the judge for yourself if you would even take into consideration doing business with Seaside Car Wash. Is taking care of customer data and not trying to illegally charge them things you look for in a company? Don't ever do business with this company, as they obviously choose to demonstrate how much they really care about you, the potential future customer, through theft."
"Great car wash. Touchless, and it works well. Prices are reasonable. Vacuums work well, and the place is kept clean. I only wish they had a garbage to help with vehicle clean out, however I can understand why they choose not to, based on the piles of over flowing trash I have seen at car washes that do have garbage cans."
