"After getting quotes from over five companies. We appreciated the energy and desire to get our business. Layne continued to follow up and see what he could do to earn our business. The process is complex, and subcontractors were not always responsive, weather didn’t cooperate, but we got communication on plans and next steps. Such a major construction project and we had water in the pool with 6wks of breaking ground. Another element that Bluefin excelled in Is materials. I’m extremely pleased with our equipment (variable speed pump, DE filter, salt system, color LED lighting, etc.), and the install setup is top notch. Bluefin was so easy to work with on tweaks and changes we made; the waterline tile is exactly what we wanted for hardly an upcharge, Layne worked so diligently with us to assure the waterfall stone and coping were matched like we wanted - so happy with the outcome! Layne also supplied us with a top notch Polaris robot cleaner controlled by wifi - sweet! I could nitpick some of the details of work done by subcontractors, but that stuff happens. Overall, we are very satisfied with our pool, and have recommended Bluefin to our friends and neighbors. We feel that we got much more in quality with Bluefin for a favorably competitive price!"

"Layne with BlueFin Pools has been awesome to work with and has always responded to my questions in a timely manner. The pool was done very quick and only delays were due to weather! The city of Lumberton gave us some issues but Layne and his team quickly came up with some great resolutions that still gave us the beautiful pool we desired. BlueFin Pools is not a done and run business, they are a partner and Layne is still supporting us and and answering any questions we have. I would recommend BlueFin Pools and give them 5 stars!"

"Bluefin hit the spot price wise and the final product is very good. We've had our pool for about 2 years now with no issues. The communication to subs for clear scope and design as or before they began different phases could've been better. The time frame that was given wasn't realistic although COVID was still affecting availability of resources (people and products). It is my understanding that when we used them they were just getting started and learning the ropes on some aspects of the process. Since then I've communicated a lot with Layne and I can tell that process has improved. Another small issue was the gap between the concrete decking and the stone capping. The gap was left unsealed and I was told that was not part of the job and that my job didn't have all the bells and whistles (which is true) but in my opinion this item simply makes it a completed job. It didn't appear to be a simple pool but an unfinished pool. I got the product and attempted it myself and it didn't turn out good. I would've wanted this sealed as a finished project and hope in the future they consider this cost when bidding their jobs because it does have to be done (looks horrible if not). If you're considering installing a pool, Layne will work to get you what you want at a price you can afford."
