"I echo the sentiments of the other reviewer. I will never return to this clinic and I suggest that no prospective, new patient go to this clinic, if they have a choice. My interaction with the doctors was positive. However, it doesn't matter how good the doctor is if the support staff is rude, lazy, and obstructionist. When I first arrived the receptionist was shooting the breeze with a friend, who stopped by just to chat; this lasted approximately 20 minutes. Their conversation was unprofessional and unrelated to any medical matter. Occasionally, the receptionist at the check out desk would yell over to add her two cents; again unprofessional. When I finally made it to an exam room, the staff in the back was inattentive, loud, and more interested in social hour while listening to their music at a level so loud, I could hear it clearly through the walls of the closed exam room. When I called to speak to speak with a nurse or doctor regarding my prescription the following day, I was transferred to another person, who didn't identify themselves, but instead was short-tempered, dismissive, unwilling to look at my chart, and refused to pass my concern to the doctor. If you're goal isn't to provide help for patients, people who are already in pain and a vulnerable state, then you shouldn't be in healthcare. The level of "customer service" given at this clinic is worse or on par with the hostile, annoyed manner city agencies that many of us are familiar with provide . LSU Health, I would suggest finding respectful individuals with work-ethic to staff this clinic. This clinic is a failure. ."

"If I could give a negative rating for this clinic for Dr. Betty Lo I would. The staff is rude and it is nearly impossible to reach the doctor especially for an urgent matter. I contacted this office several times in regards to my mother passing away and needing a death certificate signed. I was told the doctor was aware and would get it done. Two days passed and it was not completed before the weekend. I called all week long requesting to speak to the doctor and no one called me back. My mother was not able to be put at peace before the weekend due to the heartlessness and lack of compassion of this office. I was told once again when I contacted the office for the third time on Friday to contact them on Monday morning if it was not done. If you can not take care of such an urgent and important matter as a physician's office then you are not doing your job correctly. I am so disappointed and upset that mother has not been put to rest due to this matter. I do not recommend this office to anyone who actually wants to be heard and listened to!!"
