About the Memorial Stadium
Memorial Stadium, located at 1750 Foss Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is a versatile stadium used for local high school football games, BREC events, and major special events. With a seating capacity of 21,500 people, the stadium is conveniently located near Interstate 110, the Governor's Mansion, and the Department of Transportation and Development. The facility features multiple restrooms, a concession area, parking facilities, and two lighted ball diamonds. However, BREC enforces a strict bag policy, prohibiting all bags, backpacks, and carriers from being brought into the stadium, with a few exceptions. Guests are encouraged to review the bag policy before attending any events at Memorial Stadium.

Reviews of Memorial Stadium
"The football field is in good shape. Over all appearance is good."
"Lots of parking on both sides of stadium. Grounds are always taken care of and no litter is left lying around for long. I bring my cousin here for football practice. The stadium is easy to get to, it's literally 2 turns off of the interstate which is nice. The stadium can seat a lot of people so traffic can be a little congested after a game but it isn't bad. All in all it's a large, nice stadium in a good location with good parking and it's taken care of well."
"The stadium has a long history in Baton Rouge, as a kid I and a 1st cousin was introduced to the stadium by a uncle whom became politically active in the BR area, he/ we attended a sport boating water skiing exposition there most exciting event too see the stadium hold enough water for fast boats and trick water skiing amazing. And this brings me to my last venture 08/14/22, I delivered a number of goods for the impoverished back too school event organized by a City Council member that I literally begged, earnestly & humbly request the ear and understanding of this person too reprieve the home of my deceased father and the last and only thing of his I own, as well as it being my domicile for over the past 20yrs and being its caretaker plus property TAX payer, I'm now a retired senior citizen. My home was demolished with all new the lumber, roofing materials and all my personal belongings that could not be moved within a day & a night less or than 48hrs. This was done in the name of blight but it only was in that semi condition for doing a global pandemic its challenging to find carpenters & laborers...Or it seems city leadership with EMPATHY...."
"Enjoyed Thrillville with the kiddos. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed memorial stadium. What a way to have a good time after all this time."
