"Let me start by saying Dr. York is a great guy however his front desk staff horrible, rude, and unprofessional. Each time I’ve visited this office the ladies at the front desk aren’t pleasant at all. We went in to get immunization records and was told that we had to pay, even though we were never provided up to date records when my kids received their shots. The ladies acted as if we were trying to see the doctor without any insurance. Another incident, my husband went into bring our kids to the doctor and was told we had a small balance, which was no issue at all. When he attempted to pay he was told the machine was down. He had to leave the appointment to find a ATM to pay the balance. I never received any bills or calls and not to mention each time I’ve gone they won’t allow them into see the doctor unless I pay the copay. I’m just blown away about the unprofessional at this doctors office. Doctor Harold really should consider getting new staff to run the front desk."

"Yes he Dr. Harold R. York is very professional and has experience 20+ years as a doctor. I've been going to him for my son Jayce since a new born and any concerns or problems I have he makes sure I understand what's going on with my child especially my child allergies. Jayce had were bad allergies. But he makes sure every visit is a good experience for not just my child but also for me. He has never once not have a solution to whatever problem I'm coming into his office for dealing with my child. And also we are in and out with barely any waiting. Unless its a test I have to wait for and even that isn't that long. And if it's a test that's going to take a few hours or 24hrs they call you as soon as the office opens back up."

"I have been with dr York since my oldest son was born and he is 8.5 years old and my middle son and daughter also sees dr York and he is amazing with my kids when he walks in the door it’s a joke battle on who can tell the funniest joke which my boys never wins lol. He is very compassionate to parents and he is always 100 percent honest with you never sugarcoat anything and I like that."

"Dr. Hudson is a fantastic pediatrician. He is very thorough and detailed and makes sure he answers all your questions. Super friendly as well. The staff here has been very kind as well. I was so nervous to have to switch pediatricians when our insurance changed, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Very short wait time. Very friendly staff. The doctor and the staff make me and my children comfortable every time we go."

"I am writing a review only because I think a positive one needs to be acknowledged. My son has been a patient at Tri-Parish for over a year and I have never had any problem, it is also the fastest doctors office Ive ever been to (usually no wait, visited, and out in less than an hour.) When I first switched to Dr. York my son was almost 4 years old and every doctor visit we had ever had was unbearable because his Autism gave him an exaggerated fear in those settings. Literally, within just a few months, he was able to walk into this office himself happy and confident because the staff is so caring. They just made him comfortable there. He is 5 now and there are still no other offices that he will walk into without having a total meltdown. To say that the office is rude or distant is far from any experience we've had. I love everyone there! Shelley at the front desk always greets him by name and he loves going to her for stickers after his visit. Ashley is amazing and so sweet... always the right mixture of funny, nice, and distracting which was a huge contributor to my son actually liking his visits here. The other nurses we haven't seen as much but they are still always kind and interactive. Dr. Hudson is very thorough and very caring, it shows in his interactions. He even has stopped to listen to my younger sons chest after he had croup, even though he isn't a patient there. Dr. York has been great, the problem is probably that he is misunderstood. I can understand why he's not for everyone, he doesn't sugar coat his opinions of what is not working and his approach is not old fashioned, but he is very committed to treating things that aren't very traditional and getting immediate and effective results. He is good with children, my son enjoys seeing him and knows that he will walk in with a high-five and saying things that make him laugh. I think the office deserves more credit than the reviews here."
