"I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Holland for a wellness check along with a reassessment for his current ADHD medicine as I felt it was too high in dosage and was causing personality changes. As it was our first time meeting her, I stepped out so that she and my son could get acquainted. Fourteen minutes later I stepped back in and we resumed his visit. We then discussed his medication, she threw out a few suggestions and I googled them to see the side effects and whether or not other children had positive results from it. Unfortunately, my concerns and my need to educate myself on potential medications she would have prescribed WARRANTED drug abuse and child abuse. Maybe it was my unkempt 4c hair or the lightly destroyed AE shorts and gym junkie t-shirt coupled with my dark complexion that may have suggested it. But to add insult to injury, she then asks me to leave the room and conducted a physical exam on my child, and questioned him without my consent. Me being transparent and I’m my attempt to comply I did not get out line. She humiliated me in front of her staff, and my son. She flat out lied and told me that my son told her that he was beaten and wanted to live elsewhere. Only to find out that everything was done WRONG! No CPS services were contacted, until AFTER I filed my complaint with the clinic. Once I came back to the facility in my business attire she did not even recognize me and her tone was COMPLETELY different. I knew then that I had been profiled by Dr. Holland. Honestly it is disheartening because the Office Manager has yet to follow up with me once I told her I have less than 30 days left in the states before I leave for deployment. Smh this facility see predominantly Hispanic and African American kids, it’s sad that this is how families are being treated!"
