"This is an awesome place to see. We love going when the area. Family friendly. You can spend as little or as much time there as you want walking and exploring the old buildings of yesteryear learning all the unique history. It makes for a super fun, educational and relaxing afternoon. $5 for adults."
"The Spindletop Museum of Beaumont offers a captivating journey back in time. Each room exudes a unique atmosphere, providing an immersive experience. It’s a delight for kids, and the antique machines add an intriguing touch. Summer visits are enjoyable but be sure to take shade and stay hydrated. Highly recommended for history enthusiasts and families alike."
"Definitely worth the $5 fee. Set aside an hour or so and visit this cool little museum."
"This is a decent place to spend some time. We went for the 123rd anniversary, and the DJ music was a bit loud. However, the other musical opportunities were fantastic! I probably wouldn’t suggest this attraction for beginner museum-goers, as many items are not labeled. However, those with a little historical knowledge under their belts should truly enjoy this little gem."
"Unexpectedly awesome little museum! Easy to see very quickly or take your time and still be done in an hour or so. Tools, machines, and lots of daily living artifacts make this a must-see while in Beaumont. The energy in a barrel of oil has freed humans from manual labor worldwide. (And now let’s move on…) Air conditioned throughout and at 12 noon a gushing hydrant shoots 6,000 gallons of water into the sky in 2 minutes! I recommend it!"
