"He kept me waiting 2 hours while he ate lunch and watched TV on lunch break. He apologized claiming that he was on the phone with someone. My treatment room was next door to his office, I watched him just sit there, slowly enjoying his lunch. Ultimately my apoointment took less than 20 min. He refused to do anything for me or my thyroid bc it's "functioning normally"; nevermind that I can feel the nodule growing literally every week. He refused to do anything until we do a second series of procedures (totalling about $3000) 6 months after my first apoointment, all out of pocket bc I don't have insurance. So go to him if you don't know anything about your body or thyroid and want to be talked to like you're simple. But I do not recommend him if you have a history of thyroid problems, know what your treatment options are and know what treatment option you would like. After keeping me waiting for 2 hours he read my results to me, which I'm completely capable of doing on my own after 13+ years of thyroid problems. That was all. Thousands of dollars out of pocket bc I don't have insurance only for him not to do anything while I feel a nodule about to poke out of my freaking throat, that affects how I swallow. I was hoping to walk out with a surgery appointment about 3 or 4 months in the future to have my entire thyroid removed bc it's causing too many issues for me and i have a wedding coming up. I wanted it cut out so i had plenty of time to heal in case there were complications. But no. He wants me to come back in January for another battery of tests. Moreover - the worst part is that in the first apoointment vibe he came across as kind, understanding and very "I need to set a base level, so we know what's going on and I know how to treat you! :)" the second appointment vibe was basically "oh, you're normal. Your problems are cosmetic and I don't care. Come back in a few months and give me more money. Some people have actual problems like cancer. Don't be so vain." I could practically feel his desire to eyeroll me when I started crying after he told me he wouldn't do anything for me. He will also talk down to you if you are young or a woman. I've really never felt so disrespected by a doctor. I'm trying to find a better doctor but it seems like the really good ones flee Louisiana. I haven't had a good doctor here since I moved."
