All of you help people beyond the normal care as a patient, but as a human being who are scared of what will happen to them. Your presence attributes to a calming affect to our .minds as we go through this experience. I want to thank each and every person, who works in the operating department, for a job well done. "When I tell you these guys are amazing over here at Our Lady Of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge LA. I came in with a gun shot wound to the chest area close to my heart. Soon as I arrived from the amazing paramedic unit that brought me there, those guys started working on me immediately. They did everything in their power to save my life. Between God and the staff there at the hospital... I'm alive today! God stopped the bullet from hitting my heart.. and worked through the paramedics to keep me alive until I reached the hospital... and once I got there all the angels over there had me covered. The whole staff was amazing.. everyone I was in contact with was all beyond (GREAT!!) They consistently checked on me, they constantly made sure all my medical issues were resolved.. made sure I was comfortable as possible. Words can't even explain how good these guys are! It was a blessing being there. They are a spiritual hospital that prays every morning and God is right there in the center making sure everyone is being well taken care of. I would never forget this moment being here at Our Lady Of The Lake on 2-22-2024 until my release day. I've been to multiple hospitals in my life, and this one is far beyond the greatest I've ever experienced! I wouldn't want to go to no other hospital but the Lady Of The Lake. Even when I get old and on my dying bed. This is where I want to spend my last days 100% Thank you guys for your kindness, determination, consistency, and your amazing work that you do. May God continue to be with you all and bless you all always! ❤️ Thank you so much!!!"

"This hospital is the best in the State! The entire team of staff is nothing short of amazing. I was brought in from a terrible accident and they were on top of my recovery with the utmost care, respect, professionalism, nurturing, compassion. My recovery was expedited due to the environment and skills of the teams at OUR LADY OF THE LAKE IN BATON ROUGE. I’ve been here for 3 weeks now and have not had 1 bad experience from the top to the cleaning crew. I won’t go anywhere else."

"The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I had an amazing nurse. Her name is Toi. I was stuck 3 times for a IV and they wanted to do it via ultra sound, but Toi came in and found a vein right away. She took the time to explain what was going on better than the Dr. who was rude and impatient. The Dr. he was training had a good bedside manner but the one in charge did not. The attending Dr. was rude and didn’t allow me to answer his question before rushing to ask the next one. There were a group of nurses at the nurses station who ignored my call that I had to use the restroom. I had been there for 5 hours. My assigned nurse was in another room. There was so much attitude and staff was unfriendly and unprofessional. I was there due to chest pain and it was scary. The nurse Toi was patient, understanding and took the time to talk to me which is important at a time like that."

"I'm so excited to share my experience with you! I had the pleasure of working at this fantastic hospital before, and let me tell you, the staff there are simply incredible! They are some of the most caring and genuine individuals you'll ever meet. From all departments, they always made me feel welcomed and appreciated. It's truly a great place to be a part of! I'm so grateful for my time there and to be able to share my genuine feedback about all the wonderful "regulars" I met. They always put my well-being first and taught me the importance of prioritizing personal care standards for others, especially Katy! She's simply incredible and notices all the details, just like me. When everything around me was falling apart, she set me back on track and prevented me from an extended hospital stay for my disability. I can't thank them enough for their compassion and support during my time there. It changed my life!"
