"Like someone else said, all the good USPS Baker employees retired long ago. MOST of the new crop are bad to horrible with one exception - our some-of-the-time, usual delivery lady. She is sweet, personable and usually delivers accurately and on-time. I guess it won't be long before she quits, is fired or transfers to another P.O... S M H at this situation - I guess they feel like their government jobs are secure."

"As of 4/28/2022: My last review was 5 years ago and its ashame that the individuals they hire consistently show themselves unprofessional. The mail carrier, MARIE, is one the rudest individuals you will displeasure of coming across. You can count on one hand the times she has had a pleasant attitude. I recently scheduled a package for pick up and no one arrived. I rescheduled it for the next day placing in the notes that 'no one arrived to receive the item the day before'. I added that info so they would know why I was scheduling a pickup for the same item and hopefully avoid any confusion. She arrived to get the package. I greeted her, said thank you, and have a nice day as I her handed the package. She would not open her mouth. I assume she may have received a reprimandation for not coming the day before which was not my intention. Or she just didn't want to pick it up. Either way her attitude is extremely childlike and takes even inquiring about an item (that you may ordered or paid for) as a criticism. This woman is old enough to be my mother and should be over the time in her life where acting that STUPID is constant. I would be embarrassed if my mother acted that way. I DEARLY miss Mr. Charles, the previous carrier. I suggest Marie either grows up, retires soon, or get a job working with individuals of her same intellect which I imagine would only be toddlers. If you call, pray you speak with Mr. Johnson who is always nice. If you catch the female who works there, just hang up. She is the RUDEST AND MOST ABRUPT INDIVIDUAL I HAVE HEARD. No greeting and just hangs up with no goodbye. If you don't like your job then quit. Find a job kicking rocks where you belong...you bitter witch."

"I have had other people's packages delivered to me. I had one small package delivered to me and it was someone else's. I put it in the mailbox with a note on front stating wrong mailbox and for 3 weeks she kept throwing the mail over it. Finally I got a bright pink paper and wrote the note again. I have ordered things and one time a neighbor brought me my package. Now I have a package that was delivered per this post office 3 days ago. But my camera doesn't show anyone coming to my house. I could go on and on with the stories."

"There has yet to be a time that I have had a good experience with the post office located in Baker, on several occasions I have had to call headquarters and report several employees and still there has been no change in the quality of service. The post office is horrible on numerous occasions packages that I have tracked that show they made it to the post office have never made it to my home, or they lie and say they tried to deliver and that no one was home and someone was there the entire time and never seen the mail truck even pass down the street. When you call they are rude and defensive and I have been told by postal people who answer the phone that I am the one lying or that fed-ex is lying even though the computer says they delivered it to them. If there was a way to receive mail without having to go through the postal service I would surely use it, it makes no sense that they would have no pride in their job and take offense in having to deliver people their mail."
