"We used David Moving Company for our move from Baton Rouge to Shreveport. Love love loved the experience from beginning to end! Jennifer came out to our home to assess what would be moved and gave us a quote within a few days. After we received a quote and booked our moving date on the calendar, we were given ‘free pickings’ of various sized boxes. My husband had brought home an abundance of boxes on his first trip. I went back a handful of times for more (we didn’t realize how much stuff we had until we started packing!) The folks at David moving were always polite and even helped me put boxes in my car. On moving day, Richard and Orlando arrived and were eager to get to work. They went from room to room and planned out how they were going to load the truck. They made very quick work of it. They started in the morning and ended a little bit after 1 PM. This may not be typical of most homes though. We didn’t have as much stuff as my in-laws and they said that for them it took all day. We had a three bedroom and my in-laws had a five bedroom home to provide some context. Unpacking the truck the following day in Shreveport, the movers moved much more swiftly! Most everything was well preserved and wrapped from there packing expertise the day before. I highly recommend these movers if you are in need of help moving lots of things and are pressed for time and manpower. We just had a baby and I’m over the moon happy that we paid for the services. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is moving their home to another location!"

"I’m a realtor and I hired David moving Co to move my personal belongings from my house. I’ve heard enough horror stories that I wasn’t looking for the cheapest, I was looking for a company who would show up on time, take good care of my belongings without damaging walls or doors, and who was friendly and efficient. "Packing and unpacking services were not good at all. It was expensive and I expected a little more knowledge. We ended up doing much of the unpacking ourselves. I found a chipped of piece of chalk wrapped up in a very large ball of paper. I found breakables not wrapped up in paper at all. Food packed from the pantry leaked all over everything else in the box making a huge mess and ruining everything else in the box. For the move, we had a 3 man crew. One of the three was 2 hours late. The other 2 wouldn’t do anything until he showed up. But I ended up being charged for that time. 2 of the crew were good. The loader has a horrible attitude from start to finish. He had no idea how to remove the oversized exercise equipment from the old house. Took hours and should have taken 15 minutes. Before the move, they evaluated it and said it would be easy. When they tried to bring it in the house, they damaged the door frame and flooring. I asked him to please be careful and showed him what he was damaging and he said he ain’t paying for that sh@t. I had him just move it back to the garage. What could have been completed in about 10 hours on one day ended up taking about 18 hours. I have called David Moving 3 times for resolution and they keep blowing me off. I’m over it and wrote off the extra money wasted. But we will not refer anyone to this mover."

David Moving Co packers were thorough and efficient and extremely courteous. The movers were on time and careful with my belongings both in the loading and unloading process.
