"My favorite Christmas Eve Candle light service!! FUMC Gonzales has good mix of people and worship styles. Sunday’s 9:00 AM service has a full band and praise music, at 10:00 community groups or Sunday school classes meet in the education building, and 11:00 is a traditional Methodist Church service with a chior hymns and handbells. The church encourages those attending to participate fully including children who also can attend a child’s worship. Toddler and babies can play in the nursery with paid staff at all service. This is where I feel part of a faith community that serves God and the community. Genuine love and compassion for others. Also the youth group is active. Youth 6th- 12th grade meet Sunday nights @5pm with a meal, fellowship, games, and talks that promote spiritual growth for all."
