"I am a student of the EPT program. I just finished my last day of class. During my time at unitech I experienced a lot of things during my time with unitech. I am very thankful for my instructor Ms.thomas for saving my program. She taught me so many valuable lessons I will use in and out of my career. She is more than an instructor she’s a positive influence. I thank you for having faith in me and being hard on me when I needed it."

"I started attending Unitech Training Academy in Baton Rouge in October 2022 and completed my classes July 2023. Through all my trials and tribulations, having COVID-19 and continuing completing my assignments online, and passing all my quizzes and exam with a graded A or B and I finished with a 4.0 GPA. I was in class during the day, a mother of 2, a wife, and working over night for St. James Place Assisted Living I feel like it is unfair and unethical to not be acknowledge for the National Technical Honor Society before my graduation. I went to the Campus Director Monica 3 times, and she stated, “I had to be nominated by two instructors.” My instructor Koby Davis, CCMA II would have nominated me, but she left Unitech Training Academy at the end of April 2023. They all have access to my records and transcripts, and I feel so cheated because I worked really hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I PASSED my phlebotomy exam, and I am a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, and I am still waiting to take my exam for EKG. I was ready to take my EKG certification exam in May 2023, but Mrs. Michelle told me that she couldn’t schedule my exam at that time when I was ready. Ms. Koby always had us to take our certifications when we finish each book so that it would be fresh on our minds. I’m just disappointed at this present time because I’m not being recognized for the National Technical Honor Society."

"I was the Lead EKG/Phlebotomy Instructor at Unitech Training Academy – Baton Rouge Campus. I started off as the evening part-time instructor and decided to become the Lead EPT Instructor. I enjoyed working for UTA from 08/2019 to 05/2023 and being engaged with the students so that they may come to school everyday. I wasn't going to leave a review, but my voice has to be heard. I'm so upset with the administrative staff at Unitech Training Academy at the Baton Rouge location. I have some students from this year and last year calling me stating that NO ONE has been in contact with them regarding the National Technical Honor Society or Graduation. This is unheard of. These ladies have paid $15,895 for their education, completed the course, some have taken their certification, and others have not due to the administrative staff NOT wanting to schedule them because they are not efficient and organized. When Mrs. Williams was the Campus Director the staff and the students knew in advance about the NTHS Induction Ceremony and graduation. The administrative secretary Mrs. Henry called and emailed the students months in advance, had a meeting with the students and instructors and everyone knew what was going on vs “It’s on a need-to-know basis.” The EKG/Phlebotomy students are frustrated because they feel like they are being left out because I left Unitech Training Academy and administration at the Baton Rouge Campus is out the hurt them. I had some exceptional students who has worked hard to complete the EKG/Phlebotomy program with honors, and they are not being recognized. I instructed them to reach out to the Campus Director and then the home office if their needs were not met. I have students who have informed me that they have been trying to reach out to the registrar to schedule their certification exams and they are getting the run around. I would appreciate it if the Founder and CEO of Unitech Training Academy would reach out to the students and help them achieve the requirements so that they may be recognized with the National Technical Honor Society Induction and that they may walk across the stage to receive their diploma before the October 2023 Graduation Ceremony. I also want to add that I continued to tutor my students for their NCCT Certifications so that can complete the program and become successful with training and job placement."
