I live 1hr 1/2 away, and have other options as far as school but I chose Fortis College in Baton Rouge, mainly because of the Surgical Tech instructor " Mrs.Henni" she is all about women being independent. From hair schools to allied health. Unitech, Blue Cliff and more. Their connection and the interest taken with their students and graduates goes unmatched. They are not selling a graduation... They are pushing them to new heights and challenging them. If you're looking for a quick certificate that you can get from "just showing up" and being cool with the director THIS IS NOT THE SCHOOL FOR YOU."
"All we received from this school was a $2000 bill for him attending 5 days and a black and white piece of paper, that’s not itemized. They were really helpful with registration but HELL of unhelpful with dropping."
"FORTIS HVAC COURSE HELPED ME TO START MY CAREER PATH. I’ve since started my own company. The Instructors at fortis are remarkable they take as much time with you as needed and then give more time even outside of school. Mr. Gene, Mr Darren, Mr. Terance, Mr. Crockett, and Mr. Leroy NOW THATS A DREAM TEAM OF INSTRUCTORS!! So if you want to learn the AC industry definitely don’t pass by Fortis they will get you going they will get you where you need to be to be successful"
"I love the school it was so good and the dean of education Trevonda helped me a lot. The new program director for PT program Patel is simply awesome Ms.Vicks and Mr. Eric are another good teachers on campus if you guys wanna go to the school I would recommend you to go only for PT and make sure you have one of these teachers teach you they know what they’re doing unlike others"
