"The people here are kind and polite, love how it's easily accessible in mid city"
"THIS WAS TERRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM. SCAM. PLEASE READ. I had never been to therapy before and I did my entire portal (including getting approved for my insurance) and called multiple times to set up my first appointment, no one called until I sent an email asking them to delete my portal and telling them I would be using someone else. When they finally called I agreed to give them a chance. I used them twice and got NOTHING from the sessions. I was given homework after my first session and then was never inquired about how it was going. When I needed to cancel an appointment I could never get ahold of anyone. So I called, as they said you needed to do, and left a voicemail 2 days prior, as well as 24 hours before, and my therapist would text me asking why I didn't show up. They randomly charged me $160. It took me 2 days to finally talk to someone on the phone. After my portal disappeared and their "mailbox was full" so I couldn't leave messages. When someone finally called me back they said it was a miscommunication between them and my insurance, yet they never told me about it until I caught the charge. They said they had known for weeks and just didn't communicate that there was a price issue. When I asked who I could be forwarded to so that I could tell them about my experience so this wouldn't happen to someone else, I was told to call the same number that no one ever answers and leave a voicemail. THEY ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL, UNORGANIZED, AND TRULY FEELS LIKE A SCAM. MY MONEY WAS STOLEN FROM ME AND IN TURN I'M GOING TO NEED THERAPY BECAUSE OF THIS THERAPY. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. THIS PRACTICE IS A JOKE. I will be having my good friend who is a therapist practicing in Illinois report the practice and the doctor to the board."
"They literally do not answer the phone. Like why do you even have a number? And you aren’t able to schedule appointments on the website. So why am i prompted to put in all my information if i won’t be able to get in touch with anyone. Do not waste your time"
"Very unprofessional people, one of the therapist tried to charge me $120 just for a 15 minute consultation. It’s a scam stay away!!!"
"I was in the process of researching a therapy center in New Orleans and was considering NOCHC. I reconsidered when I stumbled on their Facebook business page, where extremely stigmatizing content was being posted, specifically making fun of people who rely on medication, and their symptoms. When I reached out to NOCHC to express how hurtful and harmful it is for a designated mental health “safe space” to be sharing judgemental content like this, their response was essentially “I’m sorry you took this so literal...I am not interested in getting into a discussion with you.” Shortly after, the content in question was reposted AGAIN. I was shocked that a supposed therapist of 18 years would be so dismissive of someone’s concern. Based on my interactions with NOCHC I am shocked at the level of unprofessionalism and lack of empathy for those impacted by mental health. I would not recommend engaging if you are seeking a safe space to discuss your mental wellness."
