Restoration Counseling

Restoration Counseling is a health institution located at 6100 Canal Boulevard in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Individual counseling is offered for a variety of concerns and stressors, with trained clinicians ready to help clients identify goals, gain insights, and take action towards growth and healing. Couples counseling is also available for relationships going through difficult seasons, with clinicians specifically trained in this area.

Family counseling is offered to address problems within a specific context and create lasting change within the whole family system. The goal at Restoration Counseling is to empower clients to do the work and learn the skills needed to graduate from counseling. The length of therapy varies by client, ranging from 6-8 weeks to 1-2 years.

Dr. Sally Smith accepts insurance policies from BlueCross/BlueShield HMO and PPO, as well as United Healthcare Commercial. Private pay rates are also available for individual, family, and couples counseling sessions. Student Interns, LMSWs, PLPCs, and LCSWs are all staff members at Restoration Counseling, each with different levels of education and supervision.

Restoration Counseling also offers Christian counseling, integrating Biblical scripture as a standard of truth while utilizing a variety of counseling theories and techniques. Clients from all spiritual backgrounds are welcome at Restoration Counseling.
