"This school is the worst I have been to in my entire life. The school is: -Filthy -Disorganized -Irresponsible That school is so dirty, that is has MOLD throughout the entire shcool. One of the teachers (I will not say her name w/out permission) that was a blue team math teacher got sick from the mold. I was in her 7th hour class, and witnessed her not actually throw up, but knew that she had to go to the bathroom to do so. I haven't any idea if the janitors do their job. The girl's gym bathroom is the worst. It ALWAYS stinks. I know some older gas station bathrooms that smell so much better than that one, plus they are cleaner. The floor looks as if it's stained with urine, or some of the floor glue is coming up, I don't know, but I'm sure there are cleaning products than can help with that. Not only that, but I don't think I've ever seen the janitors clean the bathrooms. My old elementary school, Vincent Settlement Elementary, was spotless. You could actually see the employees CLEAN, unlike Lewis. The only bathroom I would consider 'clean' would be the girl's bathroom near the red team hall. There is disgusting gum plastered all over the walls, in plain sight. Seriously, you can't clean that up? They have gum scrapers for a reason, at least clean up the gum that you see. I vividly remember when Lewis had a rodent problem. That was vile. The rooms stunk of dead decaying animals, makes me wonder how they all got there. Oh wait, maybe it's because they don't clean up the food very well in the cafeterias. When I was in sixth grade I recall old food from yesterday still lying on the floor, as if they haven't bothered to clean it up. Now, onto the disorganized part. Lewis cannot keep up with proper bell schedules or school hours. This year they added 8th hour, adding an additional 15 minutes to school. Why? There's no need. They have a new RTI class, but in mine we do absolutley nothing. We just read or do a pointless 'life-lesson' sheet. What can you teach in 15-20 minutes, anyway? The principal, in my opinion, cannot run the school correctly. There's so many broken things, such as water fountains, tiles in the roof, or even doors for peat sake. I beleive the school is losing its money, but I may be speaking too soon. The teachers are overall average, there has been some very great ones such as Mrs. Holmes or Mrs. Domingue. Sadly, Mrs. H doesn't work there anymore. Anyway, I have been picked on and pushed around all throughout 6th and 7th grade. What have the teachers done? Nothing. They see me get called names in the hallway, and turn their head when I look them in the eyes. I know I should've spoken up, but it's in the past now. What makes me furious is that they knew I was a target to get picked on, and didn't say a word. My old school would have definiatley said something to the student(s). The gym coaches are God awful. (I don't know about the guys, but the girl's coaches were rude and terrible.) Their names were Mrs. Pruitt and Mrs. Dupuis. I used to be overweight in 6th grade and 7th, and Dupuis would always tell me to lose weight, in which I did. I never got bothered about that issue again, but other students have. My own cousin got called fat by Mrs. Dupuis, which really got me agitated. Another peer had asthma, and both coachedsmade her RUN the mile with it. They just told her, "Take your pump before P.E." She did, and next thing you know she nearly had an asmtha attack. Please do not bring your kids to this school, there is no fun in it. For the sports teams, only popular girls or guys get chosen. So, it's best to be popular throughout all your years there, or you'll never be chosen for a sport like volleyball or basketball. My friend is amazing at it, and she didn't get chosen. Only the girls who got chosen in the previous years did, go figure. It's so preppy and trashy there, where everyone thinks they're better than everyone else. I can't wait to go to Sulphur High."
