Reviews of Gray Line New Orleans
"Great trip! Robi was our guide about 3 weeks ago on February 29. He willingly and happily shared a great deal of information with us. He answered lots of questions throughout the day. We would definitely give him 5 stars!"
"Let's get this straight right out of the swamp – when you sign up for a tour with Grey Line in New Orleans, you're not just signing up for a tour; you're signing up for an adventure of a lifetime. And our escapade through the mysterious bayous and the majestic Oak Alley Plantation was nothing short of spectacular, all thanks to our dynamic duo: Kate, our encyclopedia of fun facts and folklore, and Dominique, the chauffeur extraordinaire. First off, Dominique deserves a standing ovation for navigating the roads with the skill of a seasoned pirate steering through treacherous waters. Each stop, from the depths of the swamp to the grandeur of Oak Alley, was seamless, thanks to his prowess. If there's a smoother ride in New Orleans, it must be on a cloud. Now, onto the main event – the Swamp Boat Ride, a thrilling voyage into the heart of alligator territory. It was like stepping into a nature documentary, except you're in the boat, and yes, those gators are real! Kate, our fearless leader, was equal parts informative and entertaining, weaving tales of the swamp that had us hanging onto her every word – when we weren't busy snapping pictures of our reptilian friends, that is. But the adventure didn't stop there. The Oak Alley Plantation Tour was a walk through time, with Kate guiding us through the history and haunts of this beautiful estate. Her passion for the stories behind the grand oaks and the historic home was contagious, making the past come alive in a way that textbooks never could. Kate's wit and wisdom, combined with Dominique's smooth sailing from site to site, made for an experience that was educational, entertaining, and downright enjoyable. Grey Line Tours has truly mastered the art of showcasing the beauty and mystery of New Orleans, with a sprinkle of humor and a whole lot of heart. If you're looking to explore the soul of New Orleans, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Grey Line. With Kate and Dominique at the helm, you're guaranteed a journey filled with laughter, learning, and lots of "wow" moments. Five stars simply don't do justice to the magical experience they provide."
"My group of 10 did the Oak Alley Plantation and swamp tour and it was a great experience. Dionne knew her history and the area very well. She educated us about a myriad of interesting topics. It was a long day, but her storytelling kept everyone interested. She was also very charming, a great example of what Southern hospitality is like. I highly recommend booking with this company!"
"This combo plantation and swamp tour is a must, especially if it’s your first time in New Orleans. We stayed on Bourbon Street and the meeting place was an 8 min walk. We were met with a brand new tour bus, that had a restroom, which is always a plus!! Dionne was our tour guide and she was welcoming. We had almost a full bus, and she was able to get everyone’s attention and set the tone of our tour with housekeeping rules etc… It was very interactive. She gave us a lot of history about New Orleans and it was very Educational. She really knows her stuff and is a proud New Orleanian!! I know I ended the tour with some new fun facts.. The Oak Alley Plantation is a beautiful property and it was both surreal and saddening, to step into a home with sooo much history. The Swamp tour in the other hand was a hoot! Our tour guide was HILARIOUS and made the tour even more authentic. If you have time during your trip, definitely book a tour with Gray Line.."
"My family took the Jingling Through the Crescent city tour on Christmas Day, and we had a great time. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, and shared so many fun facts about the city. We even stopped at a couple of extra stops like St. Louis Cemetery #3. The tour did go a bit over 2.5 hours so I wouldn’t schedule anything right after the tour just in case. It was a fun & affordable way to see the city & learn about the history."
