Reviews
"I highly recommend 2nd Line Tours. The Nola Urban Culture City Tour was an informative and entertaining way to see sights other than the usual guidebook tourist locations. Our guide, Jay, was knowledgeable and gave personal accounts of important people and events that affected New Orleans. We covered a large area and many topics in this 2.5 hour small group van tour. I felt it was a good value for the price."
"Did the Spirts and Spirits tour on a rainy night lol, which was fine. The bus kept us sheltered until we got off but umbrellas were provided. Jay and Dennis were great tour guides and very knowledgeable, I learned alot. Tour lasted about 2 hrs with a short break. We visited a few cemeteries and were able to walk inside, along with visiting the site of Charity Hospital. I enjoyed them incorporating small video clips while we rode to the next site along with being able to see the city a little more while on the bus. When I visit NOLA again, I'd definitely book them for a few other tours I'm interested in. Thanks Fellas!"
"I highly recommend everyone take this tour... it really truly opened my eyes to how cultural New Orleans is. Its more then Mardi gras and Bourbon st... this tour has convinced me to return sooner than later. We went all over New Orleans and you can tell our Guide really loved his City and its History. Very knowledgeable"
"I’ve had the pleasure of taking several tours with 2nd Line Tours, and each one of them have been amazing!! I try to take one each time I am in New Orleans, as that is an opportunity to learn more about the city. Important because my family is relocating there. The tours are rich with incredible insight and knowledge into all things NOLA. You have a chance to see different areas of the city that are beyond the hype of the French Quarter. Places like: City Park, Hollygrove, the Treme, and the Bywater. Along the way, you learn where to get great food (including the BEST beignets), and what places to visit ( ie: Studio Be, Frenchman Street, and Louis Armstrong Park). The tour guides/drivers are nothing short of incredible!! I’ve had the pleasure of touring with both Dennis and Jay, and they have both made the tours spectacular. They are kind, patient, and friendly…which tends to be the culture in NOLA overall."
"This is a great tour experience. Especially if you are interested in the black/afro/indigenous history and culture of New Orleans. Dennis was an awesome tour guide and we would do it again when we come back to visit New Orleans."
