"Arrogant. Misogynist. Disrespectful. And any other synonym to these words will help you describe him and the way he treats his patients. I went for ADHD testing and his assistant couldn't even save my test properly. When I got on the telehealth call to discuss my results, he could NOT get past the fact of knowing my weight. Said "Would you tell a medical doctor your weight? Yeah, you would have to because you would be forced to get on a scale." This is just one example of the many patronizing, condensing, and narcissistic comments he made during my visit. After insulting and belittling me, this man had the audacity to tell me that I was the one being "aggressive and irrational." Giving this man one star is too much of a complement."

"He has been the best. Always helping me along the way. And has taught me a few things. He will remain my doctor for as long as he possibly can. "This is THE worst doctor I have ever encountered, during my televisit he was so frustrated because he didn’t know the link to send me to long on. The guy denied me care told me to go back to my Primary Care doctor. He charged me for a visit that was just basically a argument the entire time due to him not knowing to to operate is system. I will be reporting him in every avenue available to let anybody that has any mental illness to run from this doctor. He is money hungry! The guy told me he could here me because his office was getting the grass cut and the lawnmowers were to loud. He talks and shows frustration throughout the visits. Run from him as fast as you can! I told my primary to never refer her patients to this guy!!! He should loose his licenses, never should he have been allowed to practice!"

"I've been seeing Dr. Fain for a little over a year now, and the experience has really been wonderful. I've always struggled with the thought of being on medications-- but Dr. Fain really understands what he is prescribing and cares about the effect it has on his patients. If something isn't working, he doesn't just pile more meds on top or shotgun to find another result-- he discusses the options and makes a decision WITH you about what's best. I really trust him and that's so important when it comes to mental health! His office manager is amazing-- super organized and always friendly. Any time I call, she finds a way to help me. I've never had to call her twice for the same issue. She finds a way to work around my busy schedule and you can tell that her and Dr. Fain work really well together. I'm so surprised to see any negative reviews. Dr. Fain isn't going to tell you what you want to hear all the time, but this office genuinely cares about what is best for their patients. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants an honest and caring doctor with a competent and kind office staff!"

"My partner traveled from New Orleans to see Dr. Fain, on a recommendation from another practitioner. Since he has family in Baton Rouge, the commute wasn't an issue - we just wanted to get him good, expert care since he was experiencing a crisis situation. Not only was Dr. Fain running considerably late, when my partner was finally allowed to see him, the good doctor expressed bafflement that my partner had traveled so far, wrote up a referral for a doctor in New Orleans, and promptly ejected him from his office. Naturally, charging for the full appointment. Is this guy lazy, or just cruel? Who knows!"
