"I love the Canal Streetcar Line and use it quite a bit. A few things can make the ride easier. First in contrast to the Saint Charles Streetcars, which are green, the Canal Streetcars are red. There is also two lines on the same track. The 47 Line goes to the Cemeteries while the 48 goes to the Art Museum at City Park. They are the same until 48 turns off Canal at Carrolton Street. Finally the Le Pass App makes riding much easier by paying in advance and just showing your cell phone to board."
"The street cars are amazing and can take you all over NOLA. It’s only $3 to get an unlimited day pass in which you can hop different cable cars that take you literally all over NOLA. They can get a little hot and crowded depending on the day and time of year but we enjoyed riding them all over NOLA just to take in the sights. I’m not sure how long they run but we saw them early in the morning and pretty late into the night. The drivers were so helpful in giving us info about where we should get off in regards to what we were wanting to do."
