"This airport is one of, if not the the main gateway, for illegals being secretly flown into the country by the Biden administration. The onsite illegal alien processing center run by GEO Group for the government distributes flights full of illegals all over the eastern half of the country. There are multiple flights almost daily to/from Central American countries like El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, etc. where illegals are flown in directly. How the state of Louisiana and the so-called Republican state politicians let this happen is mind blowing. I guess they are all the uni-party now and addicted to the taxes."
"Fly into twice a year. This last year, I would never use again. American Airlines baggage check/customer service is rude and unhelpful. They left me and another couple stranded. 45 minutes before flight. The worker left the gate and did not come back to desk to help anyone. I called and got another flight, that’s a whole other story. I implore you as a flyer do not use this place. Rentals are just as bad. American Airlines in Alexandria needs to fire some employees. When I checked in later the employees were professional. The ones in early morning are the worst. Using Lafayette or Baton Rouge next time."
"Ridiculously small airport and mean as hell United Airline employees to customers. There was hardly any restaurants other than a Starbucks. Everybody may not like Starbucks. Fortunately I did not have any trouble with TSA, however."
"beautiful structure. Bar is outside of security which is nice. Thankfully TSA lines are short because they are extremely slow. Once inside security there isn’t much so don’t come through until you have to."
"Really great experience on my last flight here. Nick the bartender was awesome, and helped me create some great drinks. I was quite anxious and sad about leaving Louisiana, and he calmed me down quickly and helped me enjoy my last hour in the state. The check in, baggage, and overall service was smooth, and quite effortless. Can't wait to fly back in March."
