"Several times I made follow up appointments, just as Dr. Vargas told me to at my first appointment, so I could have my birth control refill and stay on top of my routine health. Every time, which was 3 times, I made an appointment and took off work to go just to get a notification that they canceled my appointment either an hour before the scheduled time or literally as soon as I pulled into the parking lot of the office location. I received no explanation why they kept doing this. I tried to get my refill through the one refill i had left on my pharmacy profile, but Dr. Vargas kept denying it for absolutely no reason. So, naturally I was forced to be cut off of my birth control abruptly. Dr. Vargas and his staff are highly unprofessional and inconsiderate. I should’ve listened to others who’ve had horrible experiences with him and his staff."

"My wife and I had an appointment with Dr Vargas for 4:15. We showed up for the appointment ant 3:45 and registered with the clerk at the desk and were told to have a seat. After waiting for over an hour and having Dr Vargas’ staff come out and call several other patients, we asked if they had forgotten us. The new clerk told us that we had not been registered and she went to the back to let the staff know we were there. She came out and told us that Dr Vargas was in a procedure and did not know if he would see us or not. A few minutes later my wife’s phone rang and a staff member who was in Dr Vargas’ clinic at the time was on the phone to tell us that they would not be seeing us today. We told them that we had both taken the day off from work and drove almost 2 hours after waiting a month for the appointment. My wife then knocked on the door at which point more staff came out and told us that Dr Vargas was gone for the day and we would not be seen. We know that Dr Vargas was still in the clinic because there was still a patient in the back and when we inquired about this the staff said, “Well I mean we have to clean the rooms so we can go home”. It was not our fault that we were not registered, yet we were treated like it was. We were lied to by Dr Vargas’ staff multiple times just because they wanted us to leave so they could go home. This was the most unprofessional handling of a situation like this I have ever seen. As soon as the clerk told the staff in the back that we had not been registered they should have told Dr Vargas and then let us be seen quickly. My wife and I are both registered nurses and we both understand that mistakes happen, but the way it was handled today made us feel as though Dr Vargas and his staff did not care about us and just wanted us to leave so they could go home. Would not recommend Dr Vargas after this."

"My experience with Dr.Vargas was very, very exceptional! The best part of my visit is his knowledge and expertise not only in his field of practice but even in a personal concern that I was having. I took the chance of asking his view of the matter of concern and not only did he answer my question but I left the office completely satisfied and content with his response. Dr. Vargas was on que with what I researched on the subject and much more information that I wasn't aware of. That's just one area of my time spent with Dr. Vargas. Another area was the unrushed persona that was portrayed. He really shows sincere personal interest in his patients and time is not a concern until you feel he's helped you in every way possible. Thank you again Dr. Vargas."

"Dr. Vargas has good bedside manner and is friendly, however, he is too lax in his treatment. I relayed to him on several occasions that I was concerned about my hypertensive results (when taken at home) and requested a urine test to gauge my protein levels. It was ignored. Luckily, Dr. Vargas was unavailable for a routine prenatal visit and I was scheduled with a midwife. She listened to my concerns and tested my urine. Low and behold, my instincts were correct and I was put on immediate bed rest and delivered my baby via c-section a few days later. Also, don't expect him to return your messages. It was a hit or miss when I got a response. Side note: in the hospital, a few Obgyn rounded post op including Dr. Vargas. I could really tell the difference of care compared to the other two obgyns. It was really apparent the disregard he had for my treatment plan."

"It was my first visit to Dr. Vargas so I didn’t know what to expect. I found him to be very personable and felt that he has a genuine interest in understanding my concerns. He seemed very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and even remained patient while I deliberated back and forth about treatment options. It was everything I could have hoped for in a medical experience. I appreciate his demeanor and will be scheduling future visits with him for sure."
