"Dr. Agarwal is the finest internist in Central Louisiana. He has taken care of the colon and stomach procedures for me and my husband for many years. I learned of him from my mother. She had latter stage colon cancer. He removed the cancer and treated her to wellness without further complications. Dr. Agarwal is a wonderful family member and community member. Me, my husband and my mother all have deep faith in Christ. Dr. Agarwal has always respected that, even letting my husband pray for him every time he sees him. This community will have a huge loss when Dr. Agarwal retires."

"Zero bedside manner. Accompanied my grandmother who said he was the most arrogant doctor she's ever met. I agree. Didn't inquire into her symptoms, pointedly would not hear about past attempts to deal with it. Was short with us, defensive, dismissive, and in response to my question about a newer procedure (new as in around for about a decade) told me I knew as much as he did and that he wasn't interested in knowing about it. The procedure is gastroenterology specific, and Dr. Agarwal knows nothing about it. Ignored my grandmother's questions (she was a nurse for decades). He said he wouldn't just prescribe drugs (I said great, wasn't looking for any). He said he didn't want to know about the past (I said great, let's focus on the future; the string of antibiotics my grandmother has been on are at least relevant to her current condition.) This is not even the half of it. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid."
