"Selection is okay, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. Went to get a replacement power cord for an original Xbox and the man working the counter talked to us like we're stupid. This isn't the first time we've felt like we've felt like the employees were rude to us, either. Also, there was just some dude sleeping in the middle of the store. I miss the old employees; They were really nice and always made me feel welcomed. Its a shame what happened to them. :/ The Port Arthur store, while cramped, has much nicer staff. If you can make it, I'd go there. But honestly, after what I've heard, I don't know if I can consciously give this company my business."

"I've been to GameXChanges all over Texas. The Beaumont & Nederland locations leave something to be desired. If you love filler & Sports titles, this is the place for you.. Employees working there tell me they buy the valuable trade ins for themselves (resellers). Their knowledge of video games is laughable. If you live in the area take a trip to Houston & support the small Retro Gaming Stores. Plenty of diverse & desirable titles at fair prices to choose from! Definitely worth the drive!"

"Terrible company. I was an employee for a year. The company treats employees like complete and utter trash, and has no regard for safety of its customers or employees. I was employed when the store got robbed back a few moths ago. The two female employees had guns pointed at their faces and the owner of the company had the audacity to tell them to keep working the rest of the day minutes after the fact. Those two women were absolutely traumatized so much that they quit. Fast forward to last month, Hours were cut for all associates to just 10 hours a week. Basically no money in it so i called it quits. Not just how they treat employees, its how customers are treated as well. Most of the game consoles we had for sale are gross, don't work and are infested with roaches. Over half of our console inventory comes from crackheads who find them dumpster diving. Also any console in nice condition was either stolen from Walmart, or well taken care of. I was forced to buy in cat piss soaked ps3 games. forced to clean them and put them out for sale or i get written up. This is just a single example of what i had to do in just one year of employment at a single store. They also forced us to work off the clock every night after closing the store to drive 15 minutes away to drop a deposit off at the bank for the company. Over the year of employment, i and many other GXC employees probably have hundreds of dollars in unpaid wages stacked up from this alone. There is much much more that i unfortunately cant state on google reviews because I'd likely get in trouble with this company. Please save your money and buy your games and consoles from a better trusted company. Thanks."
