"Used Pinch A Penny for years, but no longer. I was in the hospital, so I could not maintain the pool.. My wife paid them $260.00 to maintain the pool for a month as it was starting to turn. They came out added chemicals but never vacuumed. The pool got steadily worse.When the month was up the pool was still cloudy and and it had never been vacuumed. It cost $850,00 to clean up the mess they made. The store manager kept making promises but did not follow through. I went in Sat. 12/9/23 to return the chlorine jugs for the deposit and was given half of what I paid. Cody responded they were under new management. I explained I would not be back due to my experiences since August. Cody's response was " It's all good. Poor customer service along with a flippant response."

"The best pool store in Baton Rouge. I took on the maintenance of the 1200 Square foot 10 feet deep pool at my folks house after they passed. It's a monster pool and difficult to clean because of its size. The employees at Pinch a Penny are knowledgeable and helpful. The pool looks good and I'm confident that it's better than ever with the support of Pinch on Sherwood!"

The manager there is just awesome and can fix any mechanical issues that you may have. The pool cleaners , and technicians there, are a very knowledgeable group as well. So overall I have to say that this store that I I have complete faith in, and the one that I would personally recommend, is just my one stop shop for all of my pool needs."

"Not happy with their follow through on maintenance. I was told to send in photos of the calcium build up in the pool tiles. They told me they charge extra to clean the pool tiles. I said “fine” I just want it cleaned! That was over three weeks ago! Still no cleaning of the pool tiles a it’s starting to look grungy. I pay $250 per month for them to clean our pool and this is what I am dealing with! Frustrating!!!!"
