"R.j. Stoneburner was given a script for some sort of topical pain meds from his dermatologist that required a compounding pharmacy. The first one came from Arizona… took over 10 days. We found one in a lake Charles. Boudreaux’s. They called yesterday and said we could pick it up after 12. This script required prepayment. We drove to LC, to be told they are missing an ingredient and they ordered it by a clearly glazed and impaired cashier. The pharmacist or manager nowhere to be seen. It is a glitch in their system (phoned today) in which when your payment processes they (robo?) call and say it is ready. No one tells the customer this, they just say they can do it, or have done it. 110 miles (we don’t live in Lake Charles) round trip and no meds… no projected time frame yesterday for getting the elusive unknown ingredient. They have his money and the script from his doctor. Today they say the ingredient will arrive at their location at 7pm, when they are closed. They supposedly will then make it and overnight it to him. Terrible service and I have their saved P/U message from yesterday, so I guess we wait and see. Sad."

"Quick, efficient and my go to for compound and even drugs that are hard to find at Walmart, Walgreens, or CVS... They usually have it! Love this place! It also smells so good from the candles they sell"

"I spent $224 on 5 items, on 8/10/2023 2 of the 5 items were expiring. One 9/2023 and the other 11/2023. When I questioned the pharmacy about the expiration dates. My answer was, it’s a 30 day supply. I asked if this was a product, like milk, that expires quickly. As of today, no one can give me a definitive answer other than… I don’t know, I will have to check. The FNP, Lynn Duhe, from Baton Rouge was the only one who gave me a 3rd party response of.. products are different but should range from 12-18 months. When questioned.. why are my expiration dates in 6 weeks and 3 months… AGAIN, I was told that I had enough time to finish the product before the expiration date. They did say that the product would be “less” effective if the date was passed. I was never offered a replacement or a discounted price for clearing their inventory. The fact that they continued to reply with this statement, showed me their integrity in business, which also makes me question the quality of anything they shove into a bottle. I would NEVER recommend them OR use them ever again. The fact that they are hiding behind holistic healing, makes me disgusted. THIS is what we are turning to on our quest from Western medicine? If I could give negative stars… I would."

"WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! I will never go back to this pharmacy. It took two weeks to fill my prescription after multiple excuses. It did not bother them enough to apologize and I am sure this review does not either. But… I had to pay the first day! They should at least try to be nice also."
