"$1500 policy at $13.70 per month since 1989 $500 policy at $9.54 per month since 2003 $1000 policy at $23.27 per month since 2007 $500 policy at $5.38 per month since 1992 These are the "burial" insurance policies that my 84yr old mother, who is now in the nursing home, was bragging about. She would collect (or someone would, no idea who the beneficiary is, since we can't get copies of her policies that she lost) $3500, for which she has more than doubly paid. Elderly don't understand that this is a rip off."
