"Lived here almost two months now and I can say am yet to have a good night sleep because of my neighbors on the second floor they walk and stomp there feet on the floor and I can hear them snoring at nights annoying as hell feel like am losing my mind and it's pointless to make a report because how can you tell someone paying $1537 a month how to walk in there own home. Also this place needs better appliances and upgrade not worth my $1537 a month."

"1st Lake Properties are scammers!! Don’t rent with them. Please believe the bad reviews. Make sure upon vacating your apartment you do a walk through with a manager and take lots of pictures and videos. They will lie and make up something so they can keep your security deposit and make you pay out of pocket for something that is no issue in the apartment. I know because they did that to me. If I could put no stars trust me I would. Upon research they have been doing this to a lot of people. PLEASE BEWARE!!"

"It is honestly one of the safest areas to rent out an apartment and I never once felt unsafe or constricted. However, there was a lot wrong with our apartment that took forever to get fixed and when it did it wasn't fully fixed. They hire workers who do not even know how to fix simple appliances. Majority of the office workers, specifically the lady who runs it does not treat you with proper respect. They will make you overpay for the cheapest things that break so easily. With all that being said I would still recommend living here because the area is nice, the space and appliances are nice for what you're paying, etc. You will just encounter problems like what I described but its minimal in the long run. We live in the Louisiana so can't get much better than that lol."

"I have lived at Hickory Creek for 3 years and had a great experience. I'm relocating to another state for a job and will miss this place. The apartment complex is extremely quiet compared to other places in the New Orleans metro area. Maintenance issues were resolved promptly and they have contractors on standby for issues that arise over the weekend. Denise is very friendly and I've never had any issues with the staff or maintenance personnel. They have all been professional during my 3 years here. There were never any issues with parking, even when I came home late at night. My electric bill was low compared to other apartment complexes. The apartment was very spacious and there are two utility closets for storage. Thank you Hickory Creek for 3 great years!"
