"Any body with common sense please dont move here. This is the worse place I have ever lived and I am so ready to move away. All these people do is lie cheat steal and blackmale poor people. This is a sad and sorry complex i use to like it now I hate it wilth a passion. i cant wait to move out of this sad manipulative place that folks all their ac problems on the tentants bc they so greedy for money. if you are thinking of moving here dont trust me please dont. I just moved in on Aug 17th 2023. When viewing the unit I clearly asked office manager if the ac works. She said yes. Spent one night in my apartment and less than one month of billing I received a $437.00 light bill and I only spent one night in my apartment. Here we are Sept 7th 2023 office did not offer me any ac units. I had to buy one out of my own pocket and have to stay in one room with towels under the doors to keep the air in one room. not able to utilize the rest of my apartment bc the apartment ac air has not been fixed yet. I spent th3 whole Labor Day weekend with no air and the emergency number is a joke. The maintenance man that came out knew nothing about acs he is asking me what I want him to do? I said well its is broken I have a 437.00 light bill and only been home one night .how does that look? I want you to fix it so that I dont have another outrageous bill because I cant afford it. He made every excuse not to fix my unit. Certainly, hope the office is planning on offering atleast 125.00 off my next months rent to compensate some of this huge light bill I have due to their non working ac pulling power and not cooling my apartment as it should have. I am just very disappointed and out done as a new tentant I am still without ac throughout my apartment as of today. Sept 7th 2023. Certainly would not recommend this complex to anyone. it is beautiful inside but the office staff and maintenance sucks. People here wants to get paid but doesnt want to provide quality service that paying tentants are in need of. hated to mark a bad review but I feel this is the only way i can get heard bc no one is hearing our cries. I rented this place to have ac not to have a high light bill due to a non cooling ac. I am sickly and being without ac in my unit is propsing a hazard to my health especially being that I am diabetic. On top of trying to track people down to try to get some help bc this light bill is way over my budget and certainly over my rent cost. It is insame do i need help yes and immediately please apt 225. I moved here for convenience and it everything but that for me."

"I believe that Grace lake is headed in a great direction since my last review and others who've review recently as well! At first I there wasn't any communication because of the previous property manager. But the new manager is great! She has been very helpful with keeping me updating and answering any concern I have about my move in. Anytime I reach out to her, she gives me a speedy reply with no attitude or anything. And the couple of times I've met her in person, she greeted me and smiled the entire time. I look forward to moving here. It seems like a peaceful environment."

"I came to this place to ask some info about apartments. It is 2:10pm Thursday August 17 2023 and no one is here, there is a sign about "out for lunch". Do you guys even open? Update in response 08/25/2023 And how am I supposed to schedule an appointment if you guys don't answer the phone? I understand you guys take lunch from 12 to 1 but, do you always take over an hour for lunch? If you are not available for new residents I can't imagine how you guys handle the work orders for any issue. Good luck."

"I would advise anyone looking into a townhome or apartment to steer clear of this place. The lack of professionalism and display of incompetence by the manager, Dakota Honeycutt, is abhorrent. As many of the reviews have stated, Ms. Honeycutt does not accept phone calls and is never in the office during business hours. I also found it interesting that in many of the negative reviews about this community, the representative provided numbers and emails to contact management. However, when management is contacted a response is not rendered. The negligence demonstrated also rises safety concerns for current residences in the event that management would need to be contacted in an emergency and they are unable to be reached. In addition to these issues, Ms. Honeycutt has also lied about a plethora of other issues I’ve addressed with her, and continues to do so. It may be in the best interest of Black citizens in the Beaumont area to explore other housing options where they are valued and respected by management."

"Office is always closed or locked. Computer room access is rare. Our guest can't swim in pool unless we rent it. When air conditioning units go out its repaired whenever its repaired. Messages r left with "answering service" but THERE IS NEVER A FOLLOW UP CALL."
