"I have live in the pines apartments for 6 months and I quickly regret moving here. I was moved in a building where one side is burned down. There is no lighting on the building I live in. The air conditioning system is awful because it doesn’t work at all. I have complained about the lights and air since I moved in and no one comes the same day to fix the issue and I have a young child who lives here and they still won’t come I asked for a window air conditioning unit and I’ve yet to get a response. I’m fed up with being hassled about paying my rent and water but no one can fix the air conditioner. I won’t give these people not one star customer service is beyond poor and they don’t care about the tenants that live here. The office is hardly open since I moved here. A petition needs to be started to shut these apartments down"

"The management is good they need more maintenance people the apartment complex needs a lot of work inside and out no pest control comes by the spary we have roaches their getting out of control. I have been staying here for 4 months my AC unit has been leaking since then off and on they come to look at it but haven't done nothing to solve the problem I'm scared for me and my kids that the ceiling might fall down and might have a mold issues....."

"These apartments are the worst. There's constant sewage problems that they refuse to properly fix. They just route the sewage out into the yard. I believe there was a news story about it a while back but nothing ever came from it bc the people here are the poor and desperate. The landlords change multiple times a year and each is more useless than the last. Theres been a bullet hole in my mothers window for months. The landlord I spoke to about it said it would be fixed the day after I asked about it. Months later shes gone and the hole is still there. In addition to his they charge you late fees if you turn in your rent during the time they are closed. Once my mother paid her rent before the due date but since the due date happened over the weekend they counted it as being late. Even though the money order was dated for the 3rd and the rent wasnt due until the 5th. The main office phone number just goes to an answering machine and they never get back to you. When my mother moved in they said no pets allowed but theres tons of dogs here. The water gets turned off witbout notice frequently. Theres a roach and rat infestation and apparently these apartments don't have anyone come by and spray for pests like other apartments do. This is a violent area with frequent gunshots sounding nearby. Basically if you have another option I'd advise going there instead of renting from these people. There's nothing redeeming in this complex and that will always be the case until the owners invest the time and money into fixing the complex. But they won't do that as long as people are desperate enough to take whatever they give. UPDATE: These people gave some bs response telling me to reach out to their corporate office but didn't bother giving me a number/email to the corporate office. And if I'm not mistaken people have tried to contact the corporate office numerous times only to be directed to an answering machine each time. So basically they dgaf"
