"Stopped by for lunch and was delighted at the bistro setting in a liquor store no less. Friendly service - thank you very much. The Salmon BLT, and the tunafish and the Californian were all DELICIOUS! The was Special was delicious. It was a prosciutto and Brie sandwich with a fig jam. Everything was fresh and tasty. I just found out you can bring your wine over to the dining area and have it with your snacks. And -OMG- the cheeseboards are beautiful & also delicious."
"EDIT: Went back for my birthday with my fiancee. Im kinda new to meat and cheese plates, so I let my fiancee talk for me and get some good suggestions. The soppasota was recommended, and its an absolute new favorite, along with the speck. We picked some cheeses that where absolutely amazing. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Probably my new spot to buy cheese and meats. Love the layout and atmosphere. I look forward to riding the motorcycle up there and spending a slow day eating cheese outside. Thank you guys for the great experiences! *Original post - Delicious cheese plates. One of my favorites."
"Best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. Can't complain about the fries and lemonade, either! If you're inside, buy a few of their chocolate chip cookies as well. Great place for a quick bite to eat."
"I went here for the Belle Meade Bourbon dinner. The dinner was excellent. There were foods on the dinner that I didnt normally like but had me ready to lick the plate. I sat at the table of Chris Jones, the VP of Sales for Nelson Greenbrier Distillery. The conversation was great. Had some great bourbons with each course. The Cask Strength Bourbons were really good and were paired well with the dinner. Did I mention I was ready to lick the plate in front of polite company in public???? Food and spirits were so good. The dinner was well worth the $80 ticket price. Would gladly do this again."
"I decided to try Martin Wine Cellar for lunch on a Thursday. Parking was plenty, but cramped (if that makes sense). I suggest getting there before 11:30am because the lunch area was extremely busy by noon. They have a nice selection of sandwiches and salads. I ordered the Deli Deluxe sandwich with potato salad. It took a long time to get my order, and there were only 2 other tables there when we ordered. When I finally got my order, it was wrong. The staff were really nice about it and willing to fix it, but I had another long wait. I absolutely loved the potato salad and the sandwich not so much. The onion bread was too thick for the amount of meat (pastrami and corned beef) and the pastrami wasn’t easy to chew. I’m most definitely willing to give them another try due to the delicious looking cold salad and dessert options. Happy hour is 4 - 7 and the small bite menu looked appealing, so I plan in trying that in the near future."
