"Dr. Edwards is very distant. She did not call back when I had a question about the treatment plan for my 1 year old. She prescribed her amoxicillin even though I told her she had a history of resistance. Then my daughter continued to be sick & not getting better. She told us to come back in 3 days if not better so we did. At that time, she took her off the amox & put her on a 5 day steroid. Only did a chest X-ray, no viral panel or anything to indicate a reason to take her off amoxicillin & did not put her on a different antibiotic. My husband was at that appt & so I called the clinic to seek clarity of the treatment plan. (If an antibiotic was indicated initially due to her being sick for more than 10 days, why did we stop the antibiotic— that was one of my questions.) The RN was not sure of her choice either & told me Dr. E would call back. Never received a call & when I called back later; receptionist said Dr. E had to leave and to “just do as prescribed and your daughter will be fine.” We ended up in urgent care (nationwide children’s) on vacation (~1 wk later) who were confused by Dr E plan. The peds DR at Nationwide said “that’s really not standard practice- regarding a 5 day steroid for a 1 year old” and the Nationwide pediatrician put her on Augmenten after I told them she has had multiple ear infections as a baby and resistant to amoxicillin (same thing I told Dr. Edwards) and my daughter was better in 4 days with the nationwide Children’s treatment plan Other appointments with Dr. Edwards she had a very flat affect. Hardly acknowledged our child. No follow up to check in on our child due to our call and concern initially Tried to switch to Dr. White within the practice-the manager told me it wasn’t allowed. (Internal policy?-but would not provide this in writing). I voiced my concerns of how I was trying to make a decision that was best for my kids & that Dr. W may be a better fit for our family. They still wouldn’t allow it and said “how awkward would it be if you had to see the other DR if you switched” I said “why does it matter if it’s awkward. It’s my kids health & who I think is a good fit for our family. That seems a bit immature to not be allowed to switch because it’s “awkward” The manager then told me “you are welcome to go elsewhere” We are military & every clinic we have ever gone to are more than happy to switch us doctors within the practice if we feel like the other doctor might be a better fit for our kids. Again asked to speak to Dr Edwards or Dr White for clarification but they never called. Tried one last time to make an appt to have my son(never been seen by either doctor in the practice) who was having an allergy flare up to see Dr White. The manager said “it looks like Dr. E made a note and has dismissed you from the clinic” (this dismissal came from Dr E who myself or husband never even talked to about any of this) This clinic is NOT one I would recommend. I work in healthcare as a physical therapist and I am truly appalled by how they treat their patients & military families there. Have yet to hear from Dr E about why she decided to dismiss us without ever even speaking to us (doesn’t have any rationale) According to the manager “she dismissed us bc I was rude to staff”. I was given no warning that the manager felt I was being rude (even though I wasn’t) I didn’t realize asking questions, wanting to see a different doctor, and seeking a doctor that was a good fit for our family within the practice was being rude to staff. Called one last time to ask if they have a compliance officer that I could talk to and they told my I was harassing the office and hung up on me This practice doesn’t seem to want you to question their plans and seems to want you to do as told or you will be dismissed without any conversation with the actual doctor. Not a good experience, I do not recommend."

"Dr. White has been the best doctor to my two boys for years now. Whether it’s a schedule appointment or a last minute rush in visit, we are always given the best care here! He also has the best nurses as well! Rhonda is always quick to call me back and help me with whatever I need. We just love them all so much!"

"I wish the responsible person or persons would see to it that our doctors and all medical personnel provide the services they swore to do when they joined these wonderful and highly regarded professions. This is a plea for help and oversight so that another hard working family does not have to go through the struggle and frustration we went through. I took my son to Dr. Elise Edwards As he had a temperature of 102 and he was the father of a two month old baby I panicked and worried a lot about him. Unfortunately when I got to the front desk they said they couldn't do anything I had to be back at 3:00 I was trying to explain to her that my son had body aches and a high fever, if I could see a doctor who would know. Come back at 3:00 p.m I took my son to his first boss town with the cards. The stuff informed me that we cannot accept any patients now due to the lack of strength. in the hospital . My son was taken home and she watched me until 2:30pm. When I brought the clinic staff to me and they told me the doctor couldn't do anything for my son because I was screaming inside the clinic. This time I didn't talk to anyone in the waiting room, I said I didn't scream inside the clinic, I respect this place and I respect all the things here. This time come to the front desk I'm not him. Dr. Randall J. White MD Pediatrics came out and literally kicked me out of the clinic saying I was being rude and I was screaming earlier when I tried to get my son checked early (all this happens and my son still had a fever he wasn't checked in the clinic or offered any help the baby needed Her.. let me point out that I would never disrespect anyone let alone medical staff and a first responder who I deeply appreciate the work and job he does to save us and treat us when we need, if they want to claim (as they told me) I was screaming and being rude.. this is a misunderstanding Big because I was concerned and afraid for my son's well-being..and I assume they are professionals trained to accommodate and understand ordinary people seeking medical help. I was really disappointed and I don't want this to happen to anyone else and I still appreciate everyone at the clinic and hope they continue to provide care and services because we trust them. "I am so happy that I found this clinic. I have three kids and another on the way so finding one doctor who will see them all is amazing. The wait was short and the staff were all respectful and courteous. The doctor was very helpful with any questions that I had. I highly recommend this office if you have kids. Mine are 2, 3, and 8 and she handled them all to make them feel comfortable and safe while we were there."
