"The worst. My neurologist told me I could have brain surgery after Dr Ramsey told me I couldn’t. My neurologist said Dr. Ramsey changed his mind so my then neurologist ran me through all brain surgery test. Only to leave and send me to Dr. Robin who made me wait 6 months to tell me I was never a candidate for brain surgery and proceeded to tell me my seizures were PNES even though they are always caught on a EEG. Dr. Ramsey isn’t innocent either he detox me from Klonopin wrong which was giving me seizures every 30 minutes and he would never return my calls. They will kill somebody as they almost killed me twice!"

"The neurology department is atrocious. I had been progressively having issues standing and walking for months before seeing a PA here. It would have been even longer to see an actual neurologist even though it was an ER visit that had referred me. Against my gut, I settled with a PA that ended up being one of the most incompetent medical providers I have ever met. I got nothing but excuses, repeated tests, and months wasted with no diagnosis. In the end, I still never got to see an actual neurologist here. Apparently, losing your ability to stand and walk isn’t a concern to these “professionals,” and vehemently advocating for yourself gets you 86’d. Luckily, that dismissal sent me to a more competent facility where I received a diagnosis. Thanks to the neglect from Ochsner neurology, I found out that I’ve been dragging myself around for 8 months because of an undiagnosed spinal cord injury. This clinic does NOT care about your condition, your failing quality of life, your decreased mobility, or the frustrations that they contribute to an already abysmal medical system. Do not be fooled by the Ochsner name. This neurology department compounds the mental and physical detriment of their patients."

"They would not let me have an appointment with a physician (only nurse and a fellow) and applied a one size fits all approach including a recommendation of unnecessary exploratory surgery. I said no thank you and sought my care elsewhere. I doubt a physician ever even looked at my scans at Ochsner since others indicated to me that my arterial dissection was evident almost without question in the scans and exploratory surgery to determine this was unnecessary, It’s a shame that the fellows in their program are learning this approach to care."
