"I was discharged without explination. I tried calling to find out but it has been a month and no response. Now i am without my medication and no doctors. Basically, good luck and sorry for the inconvenience. After 10 years of service and this is how you are treated HORRIBLE Management. I asked how to fix things and there is no loyalty, no call back, no CHANCE. Acdian Care has gone down the drains and it was once the BEST provider. So sad."
"Why is it impossible to make an appointment or actually get a refill in time. The lady that answered said they can’t even make appointments for Acadian care and that all they can do is the same thing I can do…send a message. It’s unfortunate because the staff at Acadian care are great. I wanted to leave this review so that this hopefully gets fixed especially because of the extra stress and anxiety that this puts on patients and given the specialty you would think this wouldn’t be the case."
"Scheduling is a nightmare. No one (other than the answering service) will answer the phone. If you leave a message, no one will call you back. Had a scheduled appointment at 10:00 am that I was 10 minutes early for online. At 10:30 am, I called and the answering service answered. They put me on hold. When the operator returned on the line, she told me they were backed up and would probably be calling me in about 15 minutes. Was never called to triage and was left in the waiting room for a little over 2 hours. Called the office again while waiting in the virtual waiting room and only was able to reach the call center. She said she sent a message to them and I should hear back from them. After 2 hours and 15 minutes, I gave up and left the waiting room. It is now 3 hours past my appointment and no one has called back, called to reschedule, or called to triage. After I posted this, I tried again at 1 pm to call with no answer from the clinic. The lady at the answering service that tried the office was nice enough to message a supervisor and have them contact me. 10 minutes later I received a call from the supervisor that stated the provider I was scheduled to see had to leave town and I was supposed to get an automated call cancelling my appointment. When I asked why my earlier calls weren’t answered (so this could be explained to me) she said that her messages were backed up due to them being closed a week ago for two days (Monday and Tuesday of last week). Today was the following Monday. She did schedule me an appointment for 130pm with another provider and the triage nurse would be calling me in 10 minutes to triage me. 15 nail biting minutes later the triage nurse called. She asked me if I was logged in the virtual waiting room. I laughed and said ,”I have been there for a while.” 2 pm I finished my 4 hour ordeal. I did up the rating to 2 stars instead of 1 star for the fact they did finally work it out. But, my whole day off was shot."
"I had a decent experience here years ago with my oldest child. I recently scheduled an appointment for my youngest child a couple of weeks back. I was informed that I needed to fill out the paperwork a week prior to the appointment and complete. I did this but forgot to fill out most of page 2 of the 5 page questionnaire. I got a phone call during my lunch break and was happy to speak with the young lady who informed me of the mistake on my end. I asked her not to phone me during work hours and stated my work hours and my lunch hours. She said that's not a problem but to put a message in the portal and if I can't answer that they will just leave me a voicemail. I finished the questionnaire around 3 pm today and hit submit. I then went into the portal and stated in a message that I would like to not receive phone call's during my working hours of 9-5 but would be happy to take a phone call during my lunch break between 12-1. I thought this was sufficient. I got a phone call at 3:43, 4:41 and then again at 5:09. I answered and the hostile lady on the phone told me that I can not request to not be called during certain hours. I asked her what does her office do when a client does not have a phone. She said most do. She quickly snapped back and said well how do you want me to contact you. I replied and Yes I was a little aggravated at this moment that an email or the portal would work fine. I told her that I also work in a medical clinic and it isn't required that clients have a phone. She snapped back well I don't know what sort of clinic you work for but here our policy is that you must. I responded that this isn't the clinic for my youngest or me and she said yea I'm going to just cancel your appointment. I tried to phone back to speak to the office manager but no one answered. I then decided to write a review which I do not like to do but felt this was the only way to let everyone know that the scheduling staff is sabotaging this clinic. "My experience at Acadian Care is always very pleasant from the minute my daughter and I walk in the door and up to the counter until the time we leave! Everyone there from the doctor to the staff is friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable, and above all they are really helping my daughter. We both actually look forward to her appointments!"
