"Just had knee replacement at this center with Dr Timothy Finney. Dr Finney and the whole staff are wonderful. They take great care and listen to everything you say. I highly recommend this facility and the staff. The place is sparkling and staff fabulous."
"This is (Ramona Elsayed) I had knee arthroscopic surgery yesterday and everyone there that I had contact with was very professional, informative, kind and understanding to my needs. I could not have asked for better treatment than I received at Jefferson Ambulatory. They just called to check on me and I appreciate their concern. A big Thank you to Dr. Binder too."
"In regards to the review by Ms. Ward, I totally disagree. I have had surgery there before and the staff is excellent! The facility takes pride in how they treat their patients. As far as her issues, I made sure I went over my medications with my surgeon during my pre-op visit so I am not sure why she did not address her medication concerns with her surgeon and not blame the facility. Also, I am no professional but I do know that Ozempic is made for diabetic patients and has just recently come out as a diet treatment. So if there was some issue with that then the nurses were only being cautious so that there was no medical emergency! I will ALWAYS go to Jefferson Ambulatory for the personal care they give and will continue to recommend them to others."
"So here’s an update. This place may be a good fit for some but NOT all. I spent almost two weeks after surgery in excruciating pain due to their negligence. I ended up in the ER with a very over full bladder only to find out that I was close to kidney failure. The ER doc gave me a catheter and sent me on my way with a follow up appointment 8 days later. ( the holiday) this resulted in a super infection!. When I called JAC a few hours after the surgery to tell them I was still unable to urinate the dingy nurse told me to drink more fluids. There is no emergency number to call ! Absolutely no support. . I’d give 0 stars if I could. My surgery was ok ,my surgeon is good. But The staff at JSC are completely incompetent. I Should have seen a red flag when the woman that did my pre -op paperwork was clueless. The admitting nurse was kind but the one I was assigned was a total idiot. Kept repeating herself about my misplaced phone To anyone who would listen, bla bla bla .. They sent me home before I was ready and when I voiced my concern they said” we close soon, you have to go home” ended up in the ER early the next morning.JAC offered Absolutely no emergency contact info from them or my surgeon. NEVER doing surgery with them again!!!! Don’t go there! Request a REAL medical facility, this place is the fast food equivalent of a hospital. I wouldn’t go there for a splinter removal! This horrible experience has sidelined my entire recovery which is vital with total knee replacement.almost two months later my mind is clear and I remember more and more about this horrible experience. I’m honestly surprised that we don’t hear about people dying there. They are preforming MAJOR surgery and they are dropping the ball left and right. The entire experience was frightening now that I look back. I remember I had already been given something to help me relax when I reminded them that I was on Ozempic . The nurse asked why and I told her my doctor put me on it to loose weight and help with my recovery from my knee surgery. She asked if I was diabetic and I said no. She looked at the other nurse and said” she’s diabetic “ I’m 69 years old, not stupid and I am NOT diabetic. She apparently thought that she knew better. Unbelievable arrogance! Many studies have been completed on the affect of Ozempic during surgery and the slowing of digestion factor of the drug but apparently they haven’t read anything lately. Do not schedule surgery there!"
"This place is phenomenal. I had never had surgery before, to which I made the staff aware. Also made them aware of my nervousness. This amazing team of individuals, from the front desk to anesthesiologists, made me feel like I was a part of their family. Treated me like a king. 100 percent impressed on the care I received from everyone here. Thank you Jefferson Ambulatory for a job well done! Highly recommend."
