"I have been seeing Dr. Dimitri going on now for 16 years. After moving back home to NOLA from Chicago after 6 years, my skin started breaking out & went absolutely haywire! I was in dire need of a dermatologist & a good family friend referred me to her. Dr. Dimitri & her staff are friendly, understanding, and actually take the time to talk to you and explain everything so that you understand. Her office décor is clean, fresh and relaxing. Dr. Dimitri makes you feel comfortable and at ease, which takes a lot of stress off of you as a patient. Dr. Dimitri, hands down takes the time to actually listen to you & your concerns. She legitimately cares about all of her patients & their overall healthcare, not just their dermatological needs. I also like that the doctors and staff are all very knowledgeable on a wide variety of other medical fields, not just dermatology. For myself, this has been a game changer for a wide variety of reasons throughout the years going to Dimitri Dermatology. Since seeing Dr. Dimitri 16 years ago, I have recommended my family, friends, and friends' family. I would definitely recommend Dimitri Dermatology to anyone who has any type of skin concern! LIFE SAVER!!!!!"

"I live in New Orleans and this place is in Metairie after several buses and finally calling an Uber to finish bringing me there. I'm told I have to reschedule for arriving at 2:35 for a 2:30 appointment. Even had a referral. There were about 8 people waiting when I got there. I'm not sure how many dermatologist work there, but I'm guessing they overbooked that time slot anyways. I know I was late but 5 min, really! I could understand 30, even 20 heck 15, I think most people can respect up to 15. Even the movie theater has previews to allow for a grace period. Now I can't get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment, I don't trust their answering machine appointment. Only reason I chose this place is it was the only place I could find willing to take Medicaid still so late in the year. At this point I'm probably better letting my situation continue to get worse until after the first when everyone's (health care related business) mandatory minimum Medicaid acceptance requirements will start over. Correct me if I'm wrong."

"Went to this place, spent $400 and couldn’t get them to say it was medically necessary that I get the prescription for my daughters eczema and they wrote the prescription. Called 4 different times and was told I needed to make another appointment. I was like no I already spent $400 last time I was there. My insurance company wanted it to say that it was medically necessary that she get this certain prescription. My daughters eczema is the worst case I have ever seen too. It’s terrible they just don’t care. I guess it’s all about the money."

"I read the reviews and was nervous but they take my insurance the I honestly did not have a bad experience. I think Dr Dimitri was very professional and knowledgeable and came from a place of care. Ashley, the nurse practitioner was so lovely and attended to me removing two moles. The admin ladies were friendly and welcoming. I think the office may seem louder then normal but people are working and performing their jobs. Most importantly it was clean and staff were knowledgable."

"I highly suggest you read the reviews before you visit this office. If I was able to give my experience zero stars I would do so. Firstly the office is very small and loud. Prepare to wait a minimum of an hour in the waiting room before your called to be seen. The dermatologist I seen was very nice and did seem to do her job adequately. However the office staff at this location is very inattentive. The desk staff is constantly going outside into the parking lot. Going to their cars. Hitting vapes outside. They do not answer phones. They barley check patients in and out. My dermatologist had to check me out and take my information for a follow up appointment because the receptionist was not at her desk and “stepped away”. She asked what time I wanted to be seen so I said 3 and later received an email for an appointment booked for 9am. I was seen by the dermatologist on a Wednesday and was called the following day on Thursday to ask what pharmacy I would like my prescription sent to. I went to that pharmacy Friday. 2 days after being seen by the dermatologist to be told they did not have a prescription for me. Monday morning I began calling the office at 8:15 am around 8:45 am after consecutive calling someone finally answered the phone. I was asked to hold and they immediately hung up on me. I began calling again. At 9 am I received a return phone call and was told that the dermatologist that I seen would not be in until Wednesday and my prescription would be sent over then. An entire week after being seen. I was then told there was nothing they could do because no office staff or derm PA’s could send in a prescription. I was then told they could just send me over to HR to leave a message. It is absurd that this office is run the way it is. I am not the first person they have done this to and will certainly not be the last. In between calling when I reached the Slidell office she agreed with out wanting to say to much that this office is extremely unprofessional and inadequate."
