"About your run of the mill convenience store. High gas prices. Astronomical beer prices. Rude staff that obviously hate their decision on job choice... I'd rather drive the half mile further up to Helm and deal with an American owned business and professional staff...."
"24 hrs open 7 days a week. They were the most helpful and thoughtful owners after the hurricanes. One of the only stores open and fully stocked. They saved a lot of people and provided ice and hot food."
"I have stopped in here at least 2 times a day for the passed 2 weeks. I’ve never had a problem with this store until today. They were one of the first stores to open up around here after the hurricane and even provided free ice to the community. Today however, I stopped in to get a case of water for work. He (the owner/manager) wanted to charge me $42 for a case of Dasani water and $12 for a 12pk of drinks. I had a few other items also. When I questioned him about the price, he said the water was expensive and offered me a cheaper case of water which was still $14. When I asked if he was serious, he got extremely mad and rude, took my other things I had away from me and told me I didn’t want anything and for me to leave. Mind you, this is a store that I’m in EVERYDAY, buying water EVERYDAY, and have never paid more than $6-$8 for a case of water there (depending on who the cashier was that morning). He will not get any more of my money. I know that he will not miss my little bit of $60/day, but just wanted to make everyone aware to watch your total. Major price gouging going on there."
"Cojo2666 must be a sicko, this place is great and was one of the first gas stations that opened up to serve the community right after hurricane Laura hit. I’m happy to pay just an extra $1 a gallon for gas as they deserve it for working under these conditions"
