"I was referred to Esie and her fantastic facility by a family member. You see, I have hypothyroidism. It's a condition that can cause things like hair and skin dryness. In this case, the most prevalent thing was my hair thinning in addition to the dryness. The whole matter was causing me to feel depressed and hopeless, because as a hairy black woman, that was NOT supposed to happen to me. I mean think about it, how often do we see commercials with products for male hair loss, compared to women's products? Exactly! Anyway, the problem was not going to fix itself, so I reached out to Esie. Yall, during my first consult I cried. Yes. Cried. Why? Because, my scalp was a hot mess. I was able to see my lil yucky, clogged hair follicles under a microscope and it was so disgusting. (SN- See how intricate this process is/was? This ain't ya mama's hair salon. This is a clinical hair facility.) Blah, blah, blah...we came up with a plan of action that involved consistent scalp management and mitigation. Now, year and some change later, I've got my hair back. This has been a great and interesting experience and though I've temporarily relocated, anytime I'm in Baton Rouge, I call to set up an appointment. It's like trying filet mignon for the first time and then someone trying to give you a lil willy-nilly beef patty. Uh-un! I can't go back. It's Esie and her crew or, bust!"
