The rooms are beautiful and inviting, it’s located on the same campus as Woman’s hospital which offers peace of mind in the unlikely event of a transfer, and Dr. Ryan Dickerson oversees every client’s medical file. I felt so empowered by having a natural birth here, and I would highly recommend the Birth Center to anyone interested in a natural birth in the BR area."
"The midwives are wonderful, smart, and extremely capable. A fantastic birthing experience. My baby and I were nurtured and cared for the entire labor, and I loved it that my midwife stayed by my side the vast majority of the time I was laboring. She and her nurse were very actively involved in my labor, helping me find different positions to help speed things up or alleviate pain. It was a much more affordable birth than in hospital, and they accepted our insurance (which is difficult to find in Louisiana). I definitely would recommend this place to anyone interested in pursuing a natural birth!"
