"We have been coming here for over a year now even though it a three hour drive for a n abnormality found in my wife’s breast and things have been good but now they will not let me in the door while my wife has her mammogram done my wife would really like me to be there for support and this has not been a problem in the past in fact her doctor encouraged this to bring in or to decide to enforce this rule now is wrong in so many ways it is not funny please find another imagine center that will treat their patients and their family with respect this place is wrong"

"As everyone know I had an abnormal mammogram a couple of weeks ago. I had to go in for a closer look and thank God the test came back fine. I was then approved by my insurance company to see a breast specialist: Dr Mary Christian. Having felt excitement that this whole thing was pretty much running smoothly and running its course, I awaited the call from Dr. Christian's office, which I received and an appointment was set. Needless to say I received another phone call a week later from Dr. Christian's office indicating that my appointment was being cancelled and that I would need to find another doctor because I had missed two appointments seven years ago. Flabbergasted, I began to explain to the caller that I did not miss any appointments in fact when I arrived to the office, I found out the office had been relocated. When I arrived at the new location I was told that I was too late and would need to reschedule. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment I was then told that my insurance was no longer accepted therefore I cancelled the appointment. I guess this was the interpretation of two missed appointments. I was then told that I could reschedule with another doctor within the same office. We all know how this goes? Since when can a patient reschedule with another doctor without the approval of the insurance company, which I explained. I was also told that they would contact my insurance company to explain the situation. As of this date, I have not been contacted by Dr. Christian's office, however, I was contacted by my insurance company who I informed of my current situation. Finding this hard to believe, the insurance company called Dr. Christian's office. They too were just as shocked as I was of the entire ordeal. This entire experience has been disheartening to say the least. We truly live in a day and time where waiting relentless minutes on doctors in the waiting room, poor bedside manners, doctors cancelling appointments and refusing to see patients for simple misunderstandings are the norm. We as Patients "HAVE" to start demanding more."
