"Dr. Majid Khan and his staff are caring and compassionate. They helped me through a challenging passage in my life."
"do not go to this place. i had checked myself into the mental hospital in september and met with the psychiatrist when i was there and decided to stay with her after i checked out. she had recommended me to go to elemental for out patient care which i was excited to do until i realized the hours i would have to spend there during a week, so i took a while to think about it and while doing so was pressured so heavily to join but not in a way of they wanted to help, in a way so that they could make more money. i decided i didn't want to participate because i didn't like the vibe and even took up those concerns with the psychiatrist. she still was telling me to do it but i said no promises. i decided to not join the program and in return was terminated from care from khan psychiatry. if you have experience with medical care for your mental health you know how hard it is to find a psychiatrist, and i had been looking for a long time until i found one but was then only sent a letter saying she would not see me again. so in conclusion, khan psychiatry and elemental (who are combined as one unit) are terrible people and physicians who don't actually care about the well being of their patients at all."
"I have been working with Dr Khan for years with my autistic child and I can honestly say there’s no one else I’d want to be caring for them. He truly cares for the whole family and he’s extremely knowledgeable about the medications."
"Dr. Khan and Emily, NP, are both very friendly and kind. I never felt rushed or like they didn't care. However, this practice has the absolute WORST receptionist I've ever dealt with. She will tell you she'll talk to him or the NP and call you back, but then she never will. She's told me numerous times she'd leave them a message to call me back, but they never do. Knowing the MD/NP, they would call me back if they had ever received my message. If she doesn't like you, she won't answer your calls. I've called a couple of times, left messages, etc, but as soon as I used a different number, she'd suddenly answer. She ignores texts to the facility cell phone, she never follows up when she says she will, and she's beyond negligent. Getting my medications refilled was a huge nightmare. And the icing on the cake? She gave me the wrong Zoom link for an appointment and then counted it against me. After missing 2 appointments (one because of an emergency oral surgery and another because the COVID vaccine wiped me out and made me sleep for an entire day, sleeping through alarms and missing work), I was dropped from their care 2 weeks before I needed medicine refills. They have refused to refill any of my prescriptions while I try to find another doctor. Or at least that's what their receptionist says. Who knows if it's actually true. Service is NOT friendly to those who have depression/ADHD and miss appointments."
"Seeing a psychiatrist can be scary, uncomfortable and make you feel very vulnerable. Everyone at Khan Psychiatry made me feel totally normal about the whole situation, because it IS normal!! Sometimes we need a little help with out mental health and that's okay! I was very scared before I went in for my first visit and the receptionist reassured me through email and a phone call that there is hope and we can all work together to find a solution. Dr. Khan made me feel like I had been listened to fully and made sure we came up with a treatment plan that I was 100% comfortable with. They have made me feel very welcome and made my entire psychiatric experience much less scary than I thought it would be. Every time I have needed an appointment on short notice, they have catered to my needs and squeezed me in to ensure I didnt have to much time at all feeling not 100% waiting for an appointment. I feel that everyone at Khan Psychiatry truly cares about my well being and they arent just pushing pills, they are trying to help you find the light in life!"
