"I need the ceos information to Rapides Regional Medical Center i hit up the congressman left voicemails and sent emails and i will continue to reach out for assistance. I have a delayed birth certificate so the passport agency needs early records im aware the only record the hospital doesn’t destroy after 10 years is the birth record. I reached out to the hospital for it didn’t give anything but my name and a lady by the name of deneise writes me back confirming she has the record but the whole time im asking for it shes trying to divert me to contact vital records she then gives me dates for the records she has for me I explained those are my birth records i need those the impaient stay was the day i was born immediately she ignores me until i call and leave a message . Then she. Emails me saying SHE HAS NO RECORDS but how would you know when i was there from the month and year if only i gave you was my name . After saying you have the records ive also reached out to the news station and i will not stop until i get the issue resolved"
"Labor and Delivery Nurse Cherie is awesome she really takes her time with you and let you know everything that’s about to happen she was the best one I’ve ran across….. Now for the mommie and me floor it’s only a hand full of nurses that really care about you and will make sure your very comfortable and don’t want for nothing but then there’s this one particular one (Jace) that don’t care if your hurting or not won’t even give you a pain pill when your hurting and will have the nerve to be more mad than you"
"Everyone here --- From the amazing Shontay at admin, to all of the sweet nurses on floor 3, all of the respiratory therapists, all of the drs... EVERYONE.. is amazing. I relocated to Louisiana from Austin, TX this past year and have been very concerned on where to find good help and healthcare for my children in the area as we live in DeRidder and I do not take my children anywhere around there for emergencies. Well I have found our sanctuary when it comes to amazing help. Wow is all I can say. Everyone here went above and beyond to provide my 4yo daughter with the absolute best care possible. We have found our spot and will come here for all of our healthcare needs. I can never thank you enough for all you did for my baby. I am forever grateful for each and every single one of you."
"My wife and I recently had a child and stayed at the Women's and Children's hospital. The security is shockingly lax. Another patient let herself into our room at 7:20 a.m. one day to ask my wife for pain pills, a man pretended to pull a gun (which turned out to be a ratchet) on us as we were walking around the block, and the homeless people badgered us nonstop while we were outside. When we told security, they responded by laughing. We were given a hospitality room after my wife was discharged, and even though the nurse services had stopped, the nurses and staff still couldn't be bothered to knock on the door before entering. After already being intruded upon by a fellow patient, this abrupt and unannounced entry was cause for unnecessary anxiety. When we asked the nurses to knock if they needed to come in, they dismissed our concern. Within an hour, they told us they "needed the room", despite having several available. This was obviously their way of telling us that we were a problem, and getting rid of us rather than having some consideration for a lady already suffering from high blood pressure. Those things aside, many of the nurses in Labor and Delivery were quite nice and professional, as were the nurses and doctors working on in NICU. They are much appreciated."
"I had to go for my first mammogram and I was a bit nervous and worried. The tech was a very nice lady who explained the process in detail and made me very comfortable and eased my mind. I had a great experience here and definitely recommend this hospital imaging department. PS my scans were clean!!!"
